PCC Community Markets - Central District is a neighborhood organic grocer and food co-op offering a solid selection of wholesome foods. The store is clean and well-stocked with organic produce, affordable pantry staples, local beer and wine, and grab-and-go meals. Many find the produce fresh and of good quality, and the employees are usually friendly and helpful. The store is noted for its excellent take-home pizza, with a whole pie available for just under $20, which many customers highly praise. However, some find the selection not great for specialty items, feeling it carries mostly basic or big-box organic brands. A common concern is that many items, with some notable exceptions like eggs, are perceived as ridiculously overpriced. The small parking lot with tight spaces is also a frequent drawback. While generally a convenient and appreciated local market, the experience can be mixed due to pricing and limited specialty offerings.

Expensive? Yes. Quality food? Yes. If you shop here you are paying for the quality of the food and the service. If you want or need more affordable options the Safeway is up the street. I use this location for select items.
