“One star off for difficult parking.
Rest of stars for usual trader Joe things. Things like generally good attitude of employees, good selection, and clean atmosphere.”

“The food is spectacular and reasonably priced. All of us know that. But it's so cool that customer service still exists at TJ's. They're kind and friendly and that's a lot of why people keep coming back.”

“Pretty great for the most part - almost everything is fresh and delicious, and reasonably priced. But don't buy the coconuts; every single coconut that I've ever bought here was rotten.”

“Joe was nice enough to look into a special Tillamook order for me. He even followed up by telephone. I appreciate that he took the time to do this. Ken’s Market has always been solid.”

“Trader Joes on Madison is a 10/10 every single time.

Im fully aware that Im a bit obsessed with Trader Joes, but this location never really misses. It's always stocked, super easy to navigate, and the staff are always ridiculously helpful and friendly.

Thats the secret sauce. Even with they're busy, the employees never change their attitude. Always super kind, approachable, and make you feel welcome instead of like a burden. *Cough Qfc, Cough*

There are two places that just do not know how to disappoint. Trader Joes and Costco.

They got the formula locked in folks. The BEST products, CHEAP prices, GREAT energy, and people who just seem to CARE.

5 Stars, every time.”

“Trinity market is the best!! I get sandwiches here every other week, and they are delicious (and come with a pickle). Also, the family who owns it is so, so nice. They know the orders of their regulars and are generally extremely friendly and helpful. The text-in-your-order option is also so convenient. Absolutely love this spot, definitely worth supporting / buying from them!”

“I've ordered on gluten free bread the Turkey Blat and roast beef sandwiches! Huge portions of meat and veggies in the sandwich! I'll be trying the other hot and cold sandwiches in the future. Great, friendly staff.”

“A great place to shop if you're not looking for a specific brand. Got a great price on my favorite wines, and the staff was friendly. A week's meals for two was under $200.
Not overwhelmingly busy when I went, as I've experienced in other TJ's locations. Clean and organized despite the foot traffic.

No cons that I can think of!”

4.5 Superb258 Reviews

“Definitely better prices than a majority of other grocery stores in or around Seattle. Only thing is it's not uncommon for them to be out of stock of some staple products, like cream of wheat.”

4.4 Superb256 Reviews

“Always busy. Great buys. I'm always finding new items to try and they are usually great finds. Employees here are friendly and interactive. Gotta find the time when it's less busy so I don't feel like it's a race to get in and out.?”

“my partner’s honest rating is a 4 for the tofu yakisoba—the dish was just okay. the flavor of char and more sauce was missing, but they definitely don’t skimp on the tofu!

in contrast, the chicken teriyaki here is super flavorful. i tried both the spicy and the non-spicy chicken teriyaki, and both have a good balance of sweet and savory. the spicy chicken teriyaki is great for anyone who wants a low heat profile. i asked for no rice since i was going to eat out again later, and the fresh, creamy salad was a nice contrast to the smoky, spiced chicken.”

“It’s a mixed bag exactly what will be on the shelves, but you’ll always find what you need and get to try new products at half the price. Grocery Outlet and WinCo are life savers in this economy!”

“These people are nice. I like this store and this neighborhood despite it's shortcoming. Very helpful and friendly staff. Unique food selection (if you have not been to a PCC). High quality goods organic, natural, and locally sourced. It's basically NPR if NPR was a grocery store. It's a CO-OP, SO THEY partner with farms and manufacturer to cut out the middle man and bring you affordable artisan goods, food stuffs and produce.

You know, NPR without the donation drive. Actually. I'm not 100 that they don't have donation drive to sustain themselves, I'm not that informed about their business goings-on and what-not.

Ciao”

“My favorite local produce stand -- their prices are super reasonable, often cheaper than the grocery store. They have a small clearance section, a nice selection of drinks and random snacks to try, and honey sticks at the register sometimes!”

4.7 Superb98 Reviews

“I love that stores like this exist. It's a super neat and well organized shop. However, I got a mason jar of chocolate chips that came out to a shocking $30! Otherwise, everything else seemed like a fair price. Will likely be more careful about pricing next time i shop here!”

“This is the best place for shopping you can find everything you need the employees are so nice and kind helpful especially the lady that she works at meat suction she is very very nice the owner and his wife are very kind and nice people I love to go shop there ❤️❤️❤️”

“Produce is well stocked.
Some items have ridiculous markup. The manchengo cheese is twice what Costco sells it for. There's no reason for that.
Security is on-site.”

“We are very lucky to have Market Time Foods in our neighborhood. It's so convenient, almost always open and until relatively late, good selection and quality, staff are friendly and helpful. Yes, prices are a bit higher but gotta pay for the convenience. Special shout out for their donuts, I'm addicted to them :) please keep doing what you are doing folks!”

“Excellent produce, fish market, meat counter and deli counter. They also have a take out deli/bar with soups, salads, and other hot foods to go like pizza and chicken. Lots of organics. Friendly and helpful.”

“Constantly surprised by the amazing selection of this small neighborhood store, including organics and more high end items, beer, wine, and my kids love the candy and ice cream and stuffed animals ?.”

“Most expensive grocery store I’ve ever been to. Almost always spend over $100 on several days worth of groceries at best. But it’s conveniently close, the ready made entrees are tasty, good beverage selection, and the staff is friendly.”

“Everyone so nice especially at Starbucks being mixed I get a lot of stares in this area but to my surprise I go into Starbucks they were so nice not fake nice they didn't act all scared of me they treated me like they treat everyone this never ever ever happens to me so I was very surprised I really wish everyone was like how they were towards me I guess no one could understand what I mean unless you look like me but I very much appreciated it that's how much it stood out to me it was to white guys at that so I've never been treated so nice and like I said it wasn't a fake nice they where truly perfect they deserve the praise for sure....just saying THANK YOU.?”

“I don't come here often, but I was surprised about the variety of food that they stock. Im going to come more often. Not as polished as a QFC or Safeway, but they have what counts.”

“LOVE the wine selection and staff are so so nice! Wish the produce was a little better (wilted lettuce/old herbs) but you can't go wrong here. Deli in the back is a great spot too for lunch”

“great variety of snacks, drinks, etc—love stopping by when i’m craving different brands of ramen last minute

the people that work here have always been so kind over the past couple years”

“Love this shop...have been in a handful of times, and the last time I got to meet the owner Sabra who is sweet and friendly. I took my time browsing all the beautiful spices and learned that borage is a good tea for inflammation. This time I got some cumin, curry leaf, hot chili powder, and daal. I can't believe the prices are so low, I will be coming here from now on to stock up on my spices :)”

“Ha! Another find for me. I stopped at the little Ukrainian market to buy some herbal tea (don’t we all?), and I realized they have a little restaurant on the side. This shop is in a drive-by, you’ll-never-stop-here strip mall just north of 130th on Aurora Avenue. The dining room looks like an after thought but in the process of being decorated, so I got to give them credit.

The food is scrumptious and cheap for today’s prices. My cabbage rolls were $10.99 and ample portion. The mushroom soup was delicious and rye bread was excellent. I drank Kvas which is a chilled fermented drink from rye bread. Try it! It won’t hurt you to try something new.

My dessert was Syrnyky - a quark pancake with sour cream and strawberry preserves. The portion was generous, so I could only eat one. Leftovers work for me.

While dining here (and avoiding commuter traffic) I noticed two other people eating here. I believe a father/son duo who came down from Edmonds. I chatted with them, and agreed it’s a hidden gem.

Note: this place is no frills but there’s a charm to that when you want what would equate to a home cooked meal while dining out.”

“This place is so great, I don't want to tell but AWESOME!! I can't recall my 2 years living in the neighborhood, the gas being over $3.99 a gallon. Just saying.”

“Neighborhood bar that looks like a mini mart on the outside. ?

A neighborhood gem hidden in plain sight. This place checks all the boxes.

✅ Microbrews/Beers on tap
✅ Warm food
✅ Pet friendly
✅ Kid friendly
✅ friendly and helpful staff

I stumbled in on this place in search of a decent sandwich in the neighborhood and was surprised that it is a gem hidden in plain sight. A 3rd place, a place of community and gathering. Not just A place to get a scratch ticket, a pack of smokes and cans of beer. Not your typical mini mart. A welcome place for parents or puppy parents to drink craft beer, play cards or watch a game on the many TV’s

Theres plenty of tables and social space to make new friends or connect with old neighbors. Don’t expect a crappy gas station sandwich here. They have a great selection of hot and cold and snacks are a plenty here. They carry plenty wine, sake, and cigars too. Benches and seating outside in addition to all the seating inside.

Always get your sandwich on a hoagie. And they can heat up your sando if you ask. The staff are easy going and friendly. Great at remembering names. The sandwich was so good i got a second one to go. Prices are very reasonable. I saw posters that they have an open mic night once a month here which is pretty cool. I heard they do an anniversary party every year with the owners and also theres times thy close the larking lot and do a mini block party.

I will definitely be back in the neighborhood and i am so happy i found a nice hidden sandwich shop/tap beer, puppy friendly/ social game space! Theres more than meet the eye here.”
