“Awesome little Oldschool Market with hokeade items like Mac-n-cheese, soups, handmade sandwiches and much more to eat.Odd old-school candies and chips.Great selection of Beer and Seltzers. One stop for a quick needed items for home cooking recipes and anything to eat from ice cream to pickled asparagus.”
“My favorite neighborhood market. That staff there is absolutely incredible. You can tell they really care about their products and help you find things. It's not the largest market, but I still always end up finding exactly what I'm looking for. Quality produce and meat! Love coming here.”
“Trader Joe’s is a staple in the community. Without Trader Joe’s what would we do, I’ll tell you, stand in long lines elsewhere and or have your groceries checked out by AI checkout stations having zero personality nor smile.”

6719 15th Ave NW, Seattle“Great assortment of Scandinavian foods, particularly candy, plus knitted items, outerwear and books. One of the ONLY remaining shops specializing in Scandinavian goods in Ballard.”
“A great neighborhood market with all of the essentials you may need! They have fresh produce, dairy, meats, and fresh bread. They also have a great collection of grocery items and home items. Ran by wonderful people, definitely go support!”
“Decent grocery store in the neighborhood. Offer fresh produce and other groceries, house and kitchen stuff like a regular convenience store. They also have hot and cold food in bakery(ish) section.”
“was at the library studying, and wanted something lowkey this was great. simple good vibe, great food, and food came out the second i got back from the bathroom. delicious man! I'd pay for it again, and probably again, and then another time. Excellent service.”
“This place has everything you could need for a grocery store in a tiny and convenient space. I'm honestly shocked by how much there is, and the owners are very nice!!”

1916 Pike Pl #11, Seattle“I saw a photo from a couple months ago stating this business was closed and wanted to update-- I just walked in earlier today and they're open! Such a fun place and the store keeper was really kind :)”
“Normally I try and maximize my bang for the buck by shopping at Costco when possible. It's a double edged sword though as there are fewer skus to choose from. To my surprise they didn't have canned clams. Chef's Store to the rescue! If it's food related there's a good chance you'll find it here. Good pricing too. Vegetables, fruit, meats, condiments , canned goods, utensils - pretty much everything food related. A serious foodie friend tuned me on to this place when it was called something else. Having a senior moment because I can't recall the name offhand. You might have to dodge a few sketchy looking folks in the neighborhood but once you're there - all good in da hood. :) They have little cans of clams but why mess around?”
“super cool place!! they have literally everything!! for an amazing price too! what made the experience even better was Atraeu! he was super kind and helpful. definitely will be going back”
“Good place, wonderful international products with best prices..You find fresh hand-slaughtered meat (halal meat), cheeses, olives, herbs etc..The employees so friendly and helpful especially samira she is the best????”
“EDIT: I came in later in the week and the owner offered me half off on a new elfbar to make up for it. I still advise double checking the date on them when you buy them here. But its the only time I've had an issue here after several months of shopping here.Bought an elfbar from here, it was expired, leaking, and overall not working.I asked if I could exchange it, and was told all sales are final. And I am not happy about that.I would not recommend buying disposable vapes from this store.Really disappointing because I've always had good experiences here in the past.I'd still recommend them for anything else because they are very friendly & willing to let you be short a dollar now and then if you need it.”
“This awesome European food store has brandy beans! Chocolates with brandy inside. They also have them with rum, cherry cordial and whiskey. Haven't seen these since Trader Joe's used to stick them years ago. They also have a yummy selection of other Eastern European candies... Amongst many other great finds for the gourmet foodie.”
“If your from Hawaii ... I am sure this little gem would bring a smile to your face and heart! The aunty in here is very welcoming just like back home! I actually came here to pick up some leis for my son's graduation and left with some much more. They have delivery service for us down in the south side. Did I say ... they have FRESH kulolo and POI that come in on Thursday's? Need I say more? Will I be back? YES for Sure! Like I said ... this is a gem!! Sometimes it just feels so good to go store and be able to not worry about we talk and just Wala'au, smile, and make your heart happy!! I did end up getting leis, gifts for coworkers, Hawaii kine snacks, and I also had GREAT conversations with aunty and everyone that works there! It truly left my heart so Happy!!”

“I love TJ. As a transplant I'm used to super fresh produce and this TJ for some reason does not have consistently good produce. My only issue. Oh and parking can be a nightmare lol”
“This is not a small TJ… rather it is a medium biggish feeling store. The staff is diversified and the selection is very equitable. But please be aware the on street parking is stingy, though the garage is quite cool and empty.”
8:30AM - 5PM
676 S Orcas St, Seattle“I was a regular customer of PCH until I lived in the Seattle area. The produce is always fresh and always seasonal. I loved that they had red carrots (my favorite), fresh garlic and local rhubarb. The produce maybe a tad expensive but the taste of the vegetables makes up for it.Chris, Kailyn and Jared are always available to help. I have had numerous instances when orders had to be cancelled at the last minute or I had a missing item or I was not satisfied with what I got. The delivery is always on time.”
“Keeps a healthy stock of much of what I need in a convenient spot with reasonable prices and great hours. Run by a friendly staff who always make me feel welcome.”
“Great prices on everything as long as you buy in bulk. Pretty good selection and they carry lots of stuff that's hard to find in at other grocery stores. Staff are also great!”
“In the 1960's I used to run to this corner store with my nickel to buy bubble gum and sometimes red licorice. My grandmother lived just a few houses down the street and my auntie lived around the corner. Sometimes we were sent here to get milk and a Jet magazine for the grownups. Being entrusted with this solemn responsibility was my first experience of being independent. The store is the only thing left on the block from that time that I recognize, I am glad that it is still here.”
8AM - 10PM
8700 15th Ave NW, Seattle“Make this your first stop and you'll never be disappointed! While the selection rotates, they have many items you can find reliably and a great selection of vegan, natural, and organic foods! Some prices are equal to other stores, but you will find deals that will blow your mind on every trip!”
“I ordered a sandwich, and they got it wrong. They offered me to try it, and if I didn't like it, they would make the right one for me. I was willing to try it. It was actually really good, so I ate the rest of it. They came back to make sure I was satisfied and then gave me a handful of Lindor chocolates as their apologies.”
“EDIT: I still really like the store but some of the recent price hikes are just way too much. HUGE selection of great beers with beer on tap as well. If you are going there to eat I strongly recommend the Chicken Teriyaki. It is the best option for sure. Staff is knowledgeable and have no problems recommending a beer you will like.”
8AM - 8PM
6501 15th Ave NW, Seattle“The best produce stand! Super nice owner and he hires local high school kids. They also have dairy goods, bread, and some meats like bacon and sausage, and Mexican ingredients.”
“Solid local cornerstore. Lucky af to have a place like this within walking distance. Kinda odd how Seattle doesn't have many small neighborhood groceries like this when compared to other cities of similar size.”
9AM - 9PM
1700 Madison St, Seattle“Even though Madison seems to always be under construction, this location is always stocked and has the best staff! The lot is a nightmare but 100% better than street parking.”
8AM - 10PM
1126 Martin Luther King Jr Way, Seattle“Always an adventure here. You never know what you may find. I go weekly and always find something unexpected and awesome. From corn chips that we don't normally see in the region to ice-cream and wine that you can't find elsewhere. I LOVE the Grocery Outlet!!”
“I really like this little shop. Like most neighborhood/convenience store Lyons has about anything you'd need in a pinch. Additionally they have a sandwich shop inside where they can make you something tasty to eat in about 10 minutes. I have driven out of my way to grab a sandwich from this place...Also, as a part of the neighborhood, they know the people and happenings of the area and I feel that is important in any neighborhood.”
