Scam Alert! I rented a unit under standard terms and price. No temp discounts. No move-in special. Just a standard rental price. After 2 months, they sent a notice that the price was going up by 85%.

The site is great! We had an indoor storage unit. It was clean and well maintained. It was super easy to set up our rental and to vacate the unit. If I need storage again, I will definitely use this location.

This company will raise your rent after a few months and not give you a reason. Also their elevator is broken more than it works, leaving the ONLY access to the upstairs thru a propped open door at the top of outdoor stairs. Don’t waste your money or your time with them

My experience here has been absalotly terrible. I am sure not all their fault, let me start by saying that I had to use a storage after my mom passed last August and this was after losing 5 clients right in a row. I was working in mental health during the pandemic. Anyways, so it had only been about two months since mom passed that I had to pack everything up and put it in. Storage. We only had a few loads to go to qe would be finished and the elevator broke while me and a couple my helpers were in it.
I was asked to please call to inform the manager about the elevator the next day. So she could call the repair man. Which I did and found out that there is no manager on site. The manager from another f
acility would be taking care of the issue. Great, well about a week goes by and I speak to her again. She tells me that the cost of the repair is to costly and she did not know when it could be fixed. I am a 56 year old man with serious knee issues. Climbing the stairs attached to the side of the building was not a solution for me. She did tell me that I could have a unit on the ground level but most of my things are already up t huh are. That elevator was broken for at leasthree months. Then they raised my rent 50.00 a month. I guess someone has to pay to fix the elevator. Now last month I was planning on moving to a more cost affective place that did not have elivator.issues but again the elevator is broken
Which forces me to stay at a place I can't afford another month. Now they want 540.00 for two months rent or they will sell my belongings. Which to me seems very unfai I am so glad the other lady got the nice person give her a month in a half free rent. When I called the 800 number to co.plain about the rent increase they offered me 2.00 off for 3 months. Lol. Ol...
I am not so happy. Anyways thank you for listening I hate to complain like this but feel I need to be heard

Rent doubled in the span of 3 months. Mice are prevalent. The gal on site completely understood our frustration but the management doesn't care. Are they trying to sell the property? Because it feels like they're trying to drive people out!
