Went in to get some last minute gear for my year end hiking adventure. The store has a good collection of backpacks, sleeping bags and hiking shoes. My friends and I had a wonderful experience booking our hiking trip to Bryce & Zion national parks through their website.

REI has all our family’s outdoor recreational gear here. The staff was very nice and acknowledges you especially when looking lost. There’s even a gently used section for the scratch and dent priced stuff. ? The kids are I to it too as it’s hard to find quality gear to introduce our tiny to these sports for a fair price else where. Loyal members for years and will be for a lifetime I imagine.

Amazing store. Huge selection of everything you can think of from running and cycling to hiking gear and clothing. Loved the design and how spacious the entire store is.

The Customer Service here is superb! We had to return a pair of shoes we determined after 2 weeks, to be too small. They hurt the feet and REI stood behind their product and took the shoes back and ordered the next half-size larger. All to keep their Customer satisfied. Nice work. Will keep coming back.

I love coming to REI to get all sorts of outdoor gear. They have variety, excellent quality, and helpful personal that will point you in the right direction if you are in need of advice. Also,They have a great co-op membership and it’s so nice to have such a beautiful oasis in the city.

STORE INSIDE A FOREST INSIDE SEATTLETo really live the PNW life, you need to invest heavily in all things REI (Recreational Equipment Inc), which started life in Seattle in 1938.This store sits inside its own little forest, including a waterfall, just north of downtown Seattle. Sprawling over several floors selling everything you need, didn’t know you needed and probably don’t need! This is a retail experience unlike any other. Worth a trip just to see the building, but you’ll buy something for sure!

Great experience for my first time visit to flagship store since membership 50 years ago. Good selections, but limited sizes to the most average of customers. If you're a taller person looking for pants, you might be disappointed.

The outside of this store is so spacious and filled with tiny spots of nature. They have their own waterfall and a designated space to test out bikes! There is also a rock climbing wall of the inside. That’s not to mention that the inside is filled with a large variety of products and is so much larger than other REI stores.

The coolest and largest REI CO OP! They even have their own parking garage. 1st hour is free. There's 2 stories and so much cool gear. Large selection of stuff and lots of brands to choose from. Staff was also very attentive and helpful!

If I could give 0 stars I would. This flagship location has gone completely downhill both in customer service and ethical standards. I won't be buying from this location or any other for that matter moving forward. REI, you forget you're no longer the only ones selling outdoor equipment. You're slowly being eclipsed by companies who sell affordable gear while also upholding fair business practices. You've lost traction on both. The story in The Seattle Times said enough. I refuse to support a sell-out corporate business who places profits before people. Shame.

One of my favorite places for outdoor gear! I had the good fortune to visit their flagship store in Seattle. Awesome!

I have been to several REI across the west cost. This is by far the best in terms of design, collection, and experience. First of all, whoever designed this store is a genius, and there should be many more buildings across the US like this. Very efficient use of space due to building vertically. There is a one hour free parking on weekdays, and three hours on a weekend. We picked up our rentals and returned them here, we also did some shopping for our camping trip. This is close to I-5 and is located conveniently in the downtown.

I absolutely love REI! It's hands down one of my all-time favorite stores to visit. The merchandise selection is unparalleled, providing the best shopping experience I've encountered. The store's well-lit interior and thoughtfully arranged racks make finding items a breeze. The icing on the cake is the meticulously organized clearance section, consistently offering tempting items that I'm often inclined to purchase. The store staff is incredibly friendly, always ready to lend a hand and skillfully address any issues. I wholeheartedly recommend paying a visit to REI, even for those who aren't avid outdoor enthusiasts. It's an exceptional retail haven that caters to all.

The REI Flagship store is large and has a large selection of items. It was a fairly comprehensive rock climbing section at the front entrance with a variety of shoes and climbing gear. The bike section is very large as well as the camping and shoes. The store was honestly awesome. I would have given it 5/5 stars, but the only reason I did not is b/c I visited the LL Bean flagship store in Maine, and that store was larger and even more comprehensive (excluding the rock climbing stuff). To me, that store was 5 stars, and therefore this REI had to be a little lower. This REI is still a great store though and worth the visit!!

While the store is great, the rental department can be improved with service. While I was able to rent and return hassle free.. while renting out the staff did not even notice that they provided me with the pair of shoes belonging to the same right leg.. rest all was okay.. additionally the staff did not correctly know how to attach the crampons to the boots.. it was evident they were a bit confused and trying to get away with it by saying just do it yourself .. return was quick too. Parking for the first hour is free on weekdays and free for first three hours on weekends..
