Located downtown near Pike Place Market, the Seattle Art Museum is a great place to visit and spend an afternoon exploring. It is a very sizable museum with a significant variety of global art collections, from Monet paintings to Roman coins. It is impressive to see art from hundreds of years ago, with Africa, Europe, China, Japan and North America all represented. The museum features temporary installations and special exhibitions from around the world, which are beautifully curated. This wonderful experience is a must visit for those interested in art, offering a beautiful experience that bridges cultures and centuries.
Really enjoyed the experience at the Seattle Art Museum. Large exhibits with a good mix of classical and modern. The little booklet treasure hunt games were actually pretty fun and an interesting new way to experience an Art Museum. Would come back again! Free bag check and friendly staff
