Birds Connect Seattle is a nature shop that provides essential funding for the activities and programs of Seattle Audubon through its profits. The shop offers a wide range of bird- and nature-related merchandise, including binoculars, books, and gifts. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, taking the time to assist customers in finding the right products, such as helping a customer try out different pairs of binoculars and explaining the differences. The shop is described as an "absolute treasure" with a large selection of items, and the staff is praised for their friendliness and expertise. Customers appreciate the shop's focus on education, with a station where visitors can learn about bird nests. While the shop recently changed its name from the Seattle Audubon Society, some customers expressed disappointment with this decision, though they acknowledged the need for the organization to address issues of racism. Overall, Birds Connect Seattle is a beloved community resource that supports the local Audubon chapter and provides a one-stop-shop for all things related to birds and nature.
The staff was super friendly and helpful! Interesting history behind the taxidermy birds. They have educational kits you can borrow for outreach or homeschool programs. There is also a gift shop. Parking on the street in front from 10-3 or paid parking across the street in the mall parking garage.

Super friendly with a great collection. You have to ask to see their collection of birds but it's worth the time to see different birds up close.
