Seattle Glassblowing Studio is a business celebrating 30 years of providing public access to glassblowing through art and experiences. The onsite hot shop offers visitors an opportunity to see molten glass handcrafted by professional artists. The art gallery showcases handmade glass art, gifts, and jewelry. A full range of events and hands-on experiences are available to visitors and groups who wish to try their hands at glassblowing. It is a fun outing or date night to do something different, see how molten glass looks and is manipulated, and make something interesting. The focus on safety allows visitors not to worry and to focus on the creation. Instructors are excellent, informative, helpful, patient, and provide clear and helpful answers and expert guidance. The Studio artists can create custom commissions or installations. The studio is open for retail shopping and can coordinate online or phone orders with shipping and curbside pickup available. It is an amazing and highly recommended experience.
This was such a phenomenal class. Working with Hugh was a pure delight and we all rated it as the best thing we did on our Seattle trip. Highly recommend.
