“My husband and I had a wonderful experience working with Lars to find just the right pieces for our home. He was thoughtful in his approach to helping us consider the ambiance and feel that we wanted to convey within each space we were considering. The complete experience was top notch!”

“I had an urgent need for a specific type of print for a corporate client gift. August at Annie's was very helpful and patient through the request and changes. The artwork was gorgeous, and the framing was exceedingly well done. My clients were pleased with the gift and August and his team made me look great. I'd be thrilled to work with this company again, they were wonderful and I highly recommend.”

“Went for the holiday native art market. It was lovely, as it has been in previous years. Parking is easy. There's a nice variety of art from jewelry to scented things like soap to original wall artwork to a some pottery, etc. The gift shop also has a nice selection. There are some food options offered. It takes about 30-60 minutes to peruse everything. Thank you to the Duwamish for doing this.”

“I’m super picky when it comes to tattoos and choosing the right artist. It honestly took me over a year to find a shop and someone I could really trust, someone whose style matched mine, had good vibes, and wasn’t insanely expensive or overly selective. Yesterday, I finally got my 4th tattoo (and my first one in Seattle!) and I’m so happy with how it turned out. I went to Lake and they did such an amazing job, seriously brought my idea to life perfectly. The studio is really open and welcoming, everyone there is super nice, and it’s literally walking distance from my apartment (which is a little dangerous for my wallet tbh). Definitely planning to go back and I can already tell this is gonna be my regular spot for the long run.”

“Had a great experience here. It's quiet and there's a lot of selectioin for different pottery options.

I feel like this place is bigger and has more selection than Paint the Town, but I'm pretty sure it's cheaper than too. Not to say that there's a lack of quality, there's plenty of paint options and the environment is nice. The owner is really sweet too, you can tell she really puts a lot of passion and care to this place.

If you've never done this before, best to slot out a lot of time, this kind of thing can take a while.”

“While in town visiting family we came across this amazing store . The owners were so friendly and helpful . We have bought glass around the world and their glass ranks up there with the best we have found . We purchased quite a few pieces and they look even better in our home than they did in the store . We will be a frequent buyer for sure .”

“Who said Seattle lacks culture? Maybe they’re right, but they’d be wrong about white center. Blown away but the colorful art and exuberant energy that any patron would feel as soon as they enter this beautiful space”

“Wa Na Wari is a must see experience for everyone interested in Seattle’s African-American history. They are committed to maintaining the legacy that their ancestors established in Central Seattle when that was one of the few places people of African descent were allowed to live. They are always gracious and share their history generously and proudly. You don’t want to miss it!”

“The largest collection of back issues in the area. Also nice that they have bundles of them too. Plus friendly knowledgeable staff. Two things I love in a comic shop, the first being harder and harder to find these days.”

“Sweet shop! I likely won’t afford the items here anytime soon, though in my opinion it is worth stopping by and appreciating the plethora of furnishings anyway. Real craftsmanship and welcoming energy made my visit so pleasant. I look forward to going back.”

“My K-pop mates flew home this morning, so I was solo for the remainder of my time in Seattle. I finally made my way to Pacific Place, next to my hotel. Alas, it seems it’s another shopping center in search of tenants and customers. Is this the fate of many shopping centers on the West Coast, like San Francisco Centre on Market Street?

Anyway, I found myself inside Pacific Place with nothing to do and I stumbled across The Handmade Showroom on the 3rd floor. Hey, I found bracelets made out of guitar strings from High Strung Studios in Trenton, NJ. I lost a guitar bracelet the day before, so it was serendipity … I purchased one made with bass guitar strings and secured with a magnetic clasp ($57.38). I had to buy one … I would have purchased more but they didn’t have any more in size Medium (for my 6.75-inch wrist). Hah, I ordered two more from High Strung Studios for less money than at The Handmade Showroom.

So, I found at least one interesting store in this shopping complex. I remain hopeful that more vendors will open a store in this complex.”

“Today I found this beautiful one-of-a-kind vintage bag at a lovely little antique store. It was handmade by the shop owner herself! She creates so many amazing things beyond just bags — her craftsmanship is truly impressive. She’s also incredibly kind and warm-hearted. This is such a wonderful place to enjoy French-inspired vintage pieces and local art!”

“I'm really happy with my experience working with the Apex Art Lab team! I had a few projects that were meaningful to me and wanted professional help to make these pieces stand out and last. AAL made everything a breeze, from design to delivery and installation.

I had two old De Gournay wallpaper panels I wanted to frame for my bedroom. The original owner steamed them off the walls so they were thick, crinkly and rolled up. The main challenge, in my mind, was to get them to lay completely flat without bubbles or ripples. They were also different sizes and needed to be trimmed down slightly. The other project was creating a shadow box containing medals from my previous adventures that I have very fond memories of.

I primarily worked with Brenna and Jo for design. They both have a really good eye and helped me pick the right frames for each piece. Jo was excellent at helping me with the shadow box layout and design. There were a ton of decisions to make and Jo made the process fun instead of overwhelming. I'm really happy with the quality of Jay's craftsmanship, especially with the shadow box. Impeccable work!

The ornate gilded mirror is something I happened to see in their beautiful studio. Brenna said she restored it herself and it was exactly what I was looking for to go over my fireplace. It's beautiful and unique.

I would not hesitate to return to AAL for any future projects. Thank you AAL for bringing these awesome pieces to life!”
