“I've worked with Mitch now on two tattoos, and I am so happy with the process and how they turned out! Mitch is easy to work with and was able to offer great advice during every step of the process. My tattoo designs consist of solid black line work, and Mitch has a keen attention to detail which helped give the tattoos a clean and precise look. He was very thorough with disinfecting the space prior to starting the tattooing, which set my mind at ease. The shop itself is very colorful, feels nice and spacious with its tall ceilings, and has a calm vibe. I had a few questions about aftercare after I got home, and the folks at the front desk were very kind, patient, and informative when I called. Definitely recommend checking out this shop!”

“This place is so so adorable. The customer was outstanding. My mother came into town from England and we decided to do some glass work here. The woman was so kind and even helped with us getting out pieces a bit earlier then normal because my mom and her husband fly back to England on the 20th. We had such a wonderfully time. The owners are extremely knowledgeable about every single antique piece, a lot of which is collected in Europe. This place is so fun and welcoming, pro tip: ask questions, each item has a story! Equinox hosts an open house every second Saturday of the month. That's 4 buildings of art studios to experience! All on the same block! “I'm really happy with my experience working with the Apex Art Lab team! I had a few projects that were meaningful to me and wanted professional help to make these pieces stand out and last. AAL made everything a breeze, from design to delivery and installation.
I had two old De Gournay wallpaper panels I wanted to frame for my bedroom. The original owner steamed them off the walls so they were thick, crinkly and rolled up. The main challenge, in my mind, was to get them to lay completely flat without bubbles or ripples. They were also different sizes and needed to be trimmed down slightly. The other project was creating a shadow box containing medals from my previous adventures that I have very fond memories of.
I primarily worked with Brenna and Jo for design. They both have a really good eye and helped me pick the right frames for each piece. Jo was excellent at helping me with the shadow box layout and design. There were a ton of decisions to make and Jo made the process fun instead of overwhelming. I'm really happy with the quality of Jay's craftsmanship, especially with the shadow box. Impeccable work!
The ornate gilded mirror is something I happened to see in their beautiful studio. Brenna said she restored it herself and it was exactly what I was looking for to go over my fireplace. It's beautiful and unique.
I would not hesitate to return to AAL for any future projects. Thank you AAL for bringing these awesome pieces to life!”
“Loved this local art gallery!! So many wonderful artists to choose from. They have Jewerly, prints, art, pottery, fabric art, Seattle gifts and an art vending machine!!! Excellent choice when wanting to support local artists. Parking is on the street. Location has a ground floor and a second floor for viewing and a local artist working.”

Their website is gorgeous too! But the store experience is worth it, if only because you can see and hold and learn about the pieces in a really cool way. Gray Sky Gallery is truly a fantastic gallery experience, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Located in the heart of Pioneer Square, this space is a must-visit for anyone looking to appreciate beautiful, contemporary art in Seattle.
The space itself is breathtakingly beautiful and light-filled, creating a wonderful atmosphere that makes viewing the artwork a pleasure. The gallery features a diverse and exciting collection from many talented artists, showcasing a wide range of media—from painting and sculpture to mixed media installations. There is something new and engaging around every corner.
What made our visit truly stand out was the incredible hospitality. We were an impromptu group who dropped in today, and the owner and resident artist was so gracious and welcoming. She took the time to show us all around and share insights into the pieces, making the entire experience feel personal and inviting.
