The Grumpy Old Man's Comics, Art & Collectibles is the comic book shop in Seattle, located in Ballard. It is a fantastic and amazing shop with a wonderful and huge selection, specializing in back issue comics, keys, and collectibles. The owners and staff are wonderfully nice, super friendly, extremely helpful, and knowledgeable. They provide great service and fair prices. This is what a comics shop should aspire to be, making it the best comic shop in Seattle and a gold mine for older comics.

The largest collection of back issues in the area. Also nice that they have bundles of them too. Plus friendly knowledgeable staff. Two things I love in a comic shop, the first being harder and harder to find these days.

If you're in the market for back issues then this is the shop. Their prices are high, you should know that going in, but you're looking at higher grade books. Just be ready to spend at the top end of pricing.
The new books section is also pretty large and well labeled.
