The Mountaineers Seattle Program Center is a premier venue and hub for events and activities. It is a great organization and community that is ever inclusive and adaptive. It offers a wide variety of programs, day camps, and overnight camps for youth, as well as wide ranging activities for outdoor stewardship and community. People can take classes, which open up the outdoors and provide confidence. The staff are incredibly responsive, supportive, and kind, going above and beyond. The home bookstore carries an extensive and wonderful selection of very specific guidebooks, narratives, and instructional literature for outdoor activities. It is a fun place to learn. The venue notes that the front area should have more lights for safety.
