Fingerprinting is not available at this location as of July 2025. May return at a later point, but at time kf this review it was not available. Be aware if visiting for this reason

Definitely not the best post office but it’s okay. The lines usually quite long (7-10 people) and parking is usually almost full. They do have a drive up letter drop which is handy. Staff are fine, but you can tell they’re stressed about the business and feeling rushed.

I paid for overnight delivery on a package and my package was not delivered. It said online that it needed to be picked up at the post office. I walked into an empty lobby with the guy working the front desk on his phone. He made me wait while he finished up whatever he was doing on his phone. The guy was giving me a hard time saying he didn't know why people don't give it time and wait for their packages to be delivered. But it literally said I had to go there to pick it up? He was clearly upset that I interrupted his phone time and he had to do his job.

They work hard and do their best. I appreciate having this service available in West Seattle, especially since most UPS locations have closed.

This location will never answer their phone. It goes to voicemail and then says the box is full. I’ve tried two other locations in Seattle and they also do not answer their phones, no matter how many times or when I call. I’m trying to get finger printing done and it is impossible. I showed up at this location in a Saturday within finger printing hours and was told “they didn’t show up for work today”. When asked how we know when someone will actually be there the guy just shrugged and basically refused to talk to us. It’s infuriating.

Automated phone service is not for every issue a customer might have. No way to talk to a real person. Now I have to drive there to be acknowledged.

Absolutely terrible customer service. I have prepaid label and they demanded that I buy an envelope from them.

This place is a joke. They lost my mail, then when I submitted the form to have it forwarded to a new address they failed to do that. There’s always a long, disgruntled line. Patience is mandatory, plan to spend 45 minutes in line.

Called a dozen times over multiple days - They don't answer the phone. The outbox in my apartment complex has been broken and unusable for over 3 months. It is a lock box.....HOW IS IT OUT OF ORDER?!?! If you don't have a key - FIX IT...It isn't hard. That is literally part of your job. ALSO - Don't list a phone number if you don't know how to use a phone.

I've been trying to contact this postal service because they claimed to have "delivered" my package a month ago, but I have not seen my package anywhere, nor did the delivery driver send a picture of proof that it was delivered.

I was trying to return an item through the mail, I needed about an 8 inch long strip of packaging tape, the guy said the best he could do was regular half inch thick tape hahaha! Or I could buy a whole roll! Way to go employee of the month! You just saved the USPS 3 cents hahaha. Please work on your customer service.

Staff went above and beyond to help me track down a package which had been shipped to the wrong address and returned to sender. Very friendly and much appreciated.
