Verity has ruined my credit after more than 5 years of perfect payments on all pf my accounts. Due to life circumstance I missed one payment so Verity deemed that reson to ruin my credit and have my score deopped by 121 points. We are nothing but money to this bank and not considered human by this action. Verity ruined my opportunity ro buy a home in 2024. Thank you for not caring!!!

I get off work at 5:30 downtown Seattle. This is the only credit Union open until 6pm to cash my check. So I rush there knowing I'm barely gonna make it by 6pm closing but I go for it anyways. I arrive 2 minutes to spare and they had already locked their doors. I'm peeved alright. Don't even have gas money so I can get home without cashing my check. I'm tempted to camp out in my car in their parking lot until they open in the morning ... that's weird plus it's 85 degrees in the shade today. No I don't have the option to do an ATM deposit or virtual check cashing capabilities on a smart phone. My only option is an in-person face-to-face transaction to immediately access the funds on this 3rd party personal check. Thanks for asking. Not a big deal if you arrive during banking hours... which I did. However the Northgate branch of Verity Credit Union on Meridian decided to lock their doors 2 minutes early for some unknown reason. Thanks for the customer service Guys!

So I walk in this Saturday morning to open an account for my kids and the teller tells me that they do not open accounts on Saturdays because they are understaffed at that location. There were a total of three staff sitting around the bank with no other customers in there but us. This used to be a great Credit Union. We will move our accounts to a more customer friendly credit union.

Communication is terrible. Called them multiple times. Didn’t get a call back until almost a month later. Called again a couple weeks ago and still haven’t been called back. Not very customer oriented

I have had several bad interactions with this place. The most significant of these problems was an error on their part resulting in a $4,000 increase in my loan amount it took thousands of phone calls and emails and chats to finally rectify the situation and they charge me $25 to do it. They charged me $4 for changing my address and my address is not changed for years I have had this loan for not even 2 years I've lived at this address way more than 2 years. Again it took many attempts to get someone to recognize and eventually deal with this problem . I would definitely not recommend getting a loan from these people or a credit card or a savings account there are much better places out there and not many worse.

I have a cashier check from this bank from the sale of a car for $4800 and cant find anyone to cash or accept my check in Atlanta. Ive had one place tell me its fraudulent? Im out a nice car because no-one answers phone & 1x they did but wouldn’t verify the check or account # . Im reporting them.

I can't say enough good things about this wonderful branch. Reza is the best branch manager I have ever met in my life. He has saved me from a world of pain and stress :(. The attention, promptness, empathy, and attentiveness I have received from him has far surpassed even my closest of friends. If every branch had a "Reza", I feel like Verity would take over the world. Give this man a raise!

Rude staff stood around chatting and looked over at me several times waiting and continued to ignore me to carry on their personal conversation. Finally got up to the counter and the teller was absolutely clueless and instead of asking anyone else there if they had an answer or could help, they just shrugged and told me to go to a different verity branch that will accept currency deposits, but wouldn't give me any details as to which ones do and which don't. I tried calling in advance several times and on several different dates, but no one ever answers. There's an automated message that all staff are currently busy every time. I called right before I walked in today, got that same message, and then walked in to find that literally none of the employees were actually helping anyone in person or on the phone. So they just refuse to take phone calls here and refuse deposits. Not sure what the point of this branch even is.

Their service is good, but well-liked employees have been fired with no warning and little cause, despite being understaffed already. I think Corporate's actions don't align with the image of "caring" they try to paint themselves in, at least, they don't seem to actually care about the well being of their employees. Maybe they don't understand how humans work. Anyway, I foresee service getting worse as they fire their good workers, whom customers connect with. I do not think it is run by rational people.

Always get amazing customer service here. Been coming in this branch as a regular for 5+ years and with Verity longer than that. Love doing business with this company. Love how little fees etc there are

They’re ok but the online banking is always messing up and it’s difficult to find a number for customer service that doesn’t just get you lost in automatic systems and hard to just talk to someone

Reza was very helpful and helped answer all my questions. Was very prompt into responding and getting an approval for my new credit card. I am very excited to reserve I had just paid an old account that was a challenge but he managed to do some magic and help me out. Very professional branch my husband actually has his 2019 corvette grand sport auto loan with this bank and they gave him a really low Interest rate highly recommended them.

Nick wrote me a PPP Loan, but will not setup an appointment via telephone to discuss reporting on this loan. I have used many banks in Canada and the USA, but will take my wife and my own business banking elsewhere. Umpqua or BECU may be our choice of credit unions.I have mostly had pleasant experiences with the tellers at the Wallingford branch, though they aren't super experienced, but specifically Nick has been condescending via email, citing how many PPP loan App's they've received, and cannot book a specific time for a call. He clearly does not care about his customers and would benefit much from not working from home and being able to book a 15 min call in his month. Very disappointed customer here who will surely go elsewhere for my future banking.I could go on, but I'd steer clear of Verity, specifically Nick and go to Umpqua or BECU for your CU needs.
