Delivery speed is great, and interactions with customer service have been lovely. However, this company engages in unethical pricing practices. We were charged more than $1/gal over market price this winter, which I confirmed with multiple other local suppliers (e.g. $4.50 when others were charging $3 to $3.30, delivered). Apparently price gouging is acceptable since our tank is leased. I called to inquire as to why we were charged so much and was told that that was current market price, which was a blatant lie. I'll be discontinuing service with Ferrelgas and having them come fetch their tank.

It's not the local distributor, it's Ferrellgas corporate. Their phone system sucks, only able to place an order through their machine and it switches between entering a number and voice only with no warning. Cannot leave delivery instructions or schedule so I never know when they will show up. I live behind a gate and have a pit bull keeping the property safe so if I happen to be away, no delivery. Oh, and they will cancel an order without warning or notice leaving me wondering why they didn't show up and having to deal with their wretched phone system again.

Well, it’s Christmas Eve 2022, and I would so much rather be writing a review about how this company did a great job.
I had a delivery scheduled to happen by 12/22 (how it works with Ferrellgas is you call, they schedule your delivery to happen within the next 10 days).
I then called on 12/19, asking to pay their extra $150 charge to get that delivery moved up a day or two because my tank was empty. Was told by the lady that answered the phone I would get a call back later that day to confirm the new delivery date.
I’ve been waiting, till now they’ve still not returned that call.
Between 4:50 PM on the 22nd and midday the 23rd I called six times! finally a supervisor called me back.
Said they would ‘get delivery by the end of the day on the 23rd.
That didn’t happen, and nobody called to check to see if it happened and I haven’t heard anything cents to let me know when my propane will be
delivered.
Merry Christmas Ferrellgas.
Sorry, but not recommended.

A propane facility that does not fill 20 lb tanks. Never heard of such a thing until I visited here.

Love their delivery service. Called to see if they could secured the tank somehow encase of earthquake...been 6 months and still waiting for answer.

They did a fine job of hooking up my lines and checking the appliances. Their office is terrible at passing on messages and managing accounts. My wife originally set up the account but since I've been doing all the work with the installers, I gave them my phone number to use. They still call my wife (in another state). She called and asked to have the account phone number changed to mine and they said it was changed. They still call her number! What does it take to get a phone number right???!!

The service has been fine (although expensive - over $200 a year just to run the pilot light ALONE).Only objection is that Ferrellgas owed us about $121 (overcharge), and kept it for quite a while, despite our having requested a refund. Had to call again and request again.Our plan is to "scrap" the pilot light, and ONLY use the propane heater if 1) the electricity goes off and 2) the outside temperature is BELOW freezing.

Service has been irregular and I'm never certain as to when the capacity estimator on the website account triggers a refill even if I have manually updated the fuel level, this irregularity has caused the tank to run out over the winter even with manually ordering a refuel. The result of this was discomfort to both commercial and private residences and the need to purge and relight heater units on the property.
