Shalleena Kaye is amazing at her job. I needed two units and she made the terrible online interfaces with PS manageable. She helped me find the right unit locations, answered every question, and is personable, helpful, and knowledgeable.

I recently moved from out-of-state and had to rent my storage unit online and site unseen. I chose this location over the many others in the area based on price, convenience, and the great reviews. And it did not disappoint!
First of all, the other reviewers are correct in saying that Lemlem is an outstanding property manager. I personally experienced this too, she went above and beyond to accommodate my requests and even requested her schedule change on a Sunday because she wanted to make sure she was available for my arrival since I told her I might want to switch units. Unfortunately, I had to postpone my move at the last minute, which I felt horrible about but she was understanding.
I feel that I made the right choice to go with this property, especially with Lemlem at the helm. She is a friendly, knowledgeable and hard working individual who cares about her customer’s satisfaction - which is a rare thing these days.
Ultimately, I got a great deal on a unit close to the elevator, which is something I had hoped for, at a facility that is staffed by an exceptional property manager.

UPDATE: I received a call from a manager this morning 11/10. She apologized about the situation and rectified it. My access code was reinstated now allowing me to access my unit. I am very thankful this took less than 24 hours to rectify.
WORST EXPERIENCE! I went to rent a storage unit 11/9/25 since I’m moving down to the Shoreline area. Reserved online, showed up to finish out the renting of a unit at 1:50pm. When we arrived the door was locked and the employee was inside. She came and unlocked the door and we started the process. I had a friend set the reservation as I was driving and he was not. He inputted the name I go by rather than the name on my drivers license (that’s on us) but the lady couldn’t fathom that the name I go by is in my given name and we couldn’t be the same person. She took my license to take a copy, fine by me. I told her we could change the name on the unit even though my profile in the public storage app says my given name, the name I go by and my last name which I provided to her at the time. She rented me the unit did the process we went up to the unit that I rented to see where it was at then we left. At 4:50pm this lady called me and told me “I don’t think the picture on you license looks like you” this was a 12 minute phone call of her telling me I don’t look like the picture on my license (the picture is 3 years old and I had just spent the day moving) at this time I was sitting in the parking lot having this conversation, after about 12 minutes she proceeded to tell me she had a customer and needed to get off the phone….. There was no one but her in the office AND the door was locked! We walked up to the door proceeded to try to open in finding that it was locked, she walked very slowly to the door no wanting to deal with the confrontation that was about to happen. I walked in and asked what about the picture makes you think that it is not me? She stumbled over her words and the best she had was my hair was different. I was utterly befuddled. I pulled my license out and asked her to point out because my eye color matches, my hair color currently matches. I asked is it the fact that I have put on weight because my face is more round at this point to which she responded “I’m not saying that” like she could BELIEVE that I had the balls to ask that. Mind you I had asked for a manger at this point multiple times, asked for an email or a business and she refused to provide anything to me telling me the manager will call me tomorrow to validate my license picture. Then she said “it’s fine I’ll risk it” and we walked out to go put things in to the unit. We get inside and to the elevator to go up to my unit, I put in the code and it says “see manager” so I had been locked out of my unit…… This was by FAR the worst experience at the end of the day of moving and now I have a van full of personal items that I will have to now find time in my work week to inconvenience myself to get in to storage.

Been using Public Storage since this past summer and really like this location. It’s always kept exceptionally clean, always carts available and Lemlem who works the front desk (I see her there a lot) is always so very kind and helpful!

I rented a space 3 days ago and due to their error my items sat in a truck that I got to pay for because I couldn't get a code to get in . They say they are open from 9-6 but know body is there. I wanted my money back and couldn't get it without my 10th call to the customer service that just sends you back to a manager that is never there and speaks bad English. I give up on the money just so I can forget the mess they put me through. Really do yourself a favor and seek a unit elsewhere. This was a ridiculous uncalled for mess at my expense. Thank you for your time and hope this helps others.
