My PCP referred me to Kitsap Physical therapy for some back pain I was experiencing. I called the Bremerton office (where I was referred) and they told me they didn't have the referral and to call their other locations to see if they had the referral. I said "Can you see what the other KPT locations have since you are all the same entity?" She informed me she could not and I would have to call (I find that odd, but okay). After multiple calls to the other locations and no luck with any of them receiving the referral I decided to call Bremerton back and guess what?! They had the referral! AND they said they needed more information and I couldn't schedule me. I called my primary and they faxed over additional notes right away (at this point we were going on a month of back and fourth with KPT). I finally informed the scheduler that I didn't need a referral with the insurance through my employer (Regence) she rudely responded "Well, I won't be responsible if you get a bill". At that point I said forget it and was asked to be referred to another specialty. ONE DAY after I scheduled with another physical therapy group in Kitsap I received a call from Kitsap Physical Therapy saying they had my referraL and to call them back for scheduling....hmmm..interesting. And no, I definitely did not call them back.

Have had 20+ appointments here in the last couple years - first for pain in shoulders, then legs, back, and knees. All the associates I've dealt with (can be different week to week depending on workload) were very knowledgeable and competent, and I'm glad Naval Hospital referred me here. Along with treatment at the hospital, I expect to become almost like my 35-year-younger self, which will be GREAT.

Recently worked with Dave Diamond for post operative care following shoulder replacement surgery. His knowledge of therapeutic modalities and encouraging attitude guided me to greater recovery than I had expected. The surgeon was also surprised that I had recovered so much function. The clinic staff were well trained and the front office adept at scheduling. The clinic practices infection control measures to protect patients from COVID infection.

Definitely the most diverse and comprehensive Physical Therapy organization in the region. The new Poulsbo space is beautiful and well suited to meeting a very wide range of the community's needs.

I can't say enough about Kitsap Physical Therapy. They do a great job even with Covid restrictions. I saw frequent sanitation and safety precautions being enforced. This is my second time in therapy here. On this instance, I was receiving Occupational Therapy for an over used hand at work. Haley Van Ens was my therapist and all she works on is hands. She was extremely knowledgeable, kind, friendly and immediately puts you at ease. I felt I could trust her and speak openly about issues regarding my care and therapy plan. She explained each exercise, sent home putty to continue therapy, ensured I was comfortable and made suggestions to help me after therapy was over. I never felt rushed or herded through like other facilities in the past. I had the highest copayment they've ever seen (my insurance sucks) but I'd rather go where I felt safe and comfortable rather than was was cheapest. Again,my copay was unusually high due to my personal insurance, not their facility. Everyone else was free-$35 tops.

This place rocks! I came in broken and finished a new person. The staff is so nice and really care about you. My therapist Jenifer could not have been better, so knowledgeable and encouraging. I have to give her all the credit and gracious thanks. Thank you all at KPT. Can't forget G-Man ;)

I have never been to physical therapy. So I didn't really know what to expect. Haley Van Ens was just wonderful. I felt silly because my wrist wasn't seriously injured it has just been bothering me. She didn't make me feel silly for coming in and in fact reassured me that even small injuries need to be taken care of. I would absolutely recommend this office.
