The store is clean and well organized. Make sure to check out the sales racks first. They always have great deals there.

The staff was friendly enough, but I am a hard fit and they did not have a lot that was even acceptable for me on my foot. When I'd ask more questions, the person that was helping me Was busy helping everybody else, and I felt like I'd been pushed aside. It's not her fault that I have the size foot that I do or that the store only carries A limited number of styles or sizes in certain brands, but for those of us who are difficult sizes or foot shapes, more compassion could be shown, rather than being able to go and help the average size person. I could have been out of here a lot sooner had she dealt with the than issue directly and kindly, rather than throwing a couple of pairs of shoes at me.

I went to the Silverdale REI for the first time today and loved it. I recently got into mountain biking and they were so friendly and helped me with all my questions. One of the friendliest and most welcoming stores I’ve been to in a while.

I love REI. I needed shoes. Two different employees were there with insights and knowledge to help me find a great couple of options for my foot needs and also to match my activities. Then, because I am a member, I got money off of my purchase and I have a year to try my choice out to ensure they are the perfect shoes for me.
I LOVE REI.

Great store for outdoor activities. They cover all sorts of human powered outdoor sports plus car camping. I was after a big backpack and a sleeping bag. The staff that helped me were great. The selection was considerably and the choices good.

I have never been so disappointed in an REI. Literally so little stock that the want you to order any shoe that isn’t black. There is so much open space they could put in more stock. What I am saying is that this store is supposed to support the whole Olympic Peninsula. Save time and just order what you need online.
