“Last night the staff helped my young son shop for my ?and made sure I didnt peak. They ladies are truly awesome and appreciated! I love this store, love the staff and appreciate the above and beyond. It was simple guesses that mean alot!!!”
“It’s been a minute last time I was here. Only because I had a closer store to my home. I forgot how great this location actually is. It’s clean. It feels safe. The employees are just the sweetest! I loved being greeted as soon as I walked in. It was so nice to be able to get everything I was looking for, and more! I’m so glad to be going back to this location!!!! They really are doing such an amazing job here!!!!”
“Nice little discount grocery store that has some amazing deals, especially on produce. To see their daily and weekend deals, check them out on Facebook. Prices aren't as good as they use to be, but still can find enough to make stopping worth it. OH! Candy. They can have excellent prices on various candy at times too. I've noticed the last year or so, a much wider selection of harder to find brands and lots of new ethnic brands. New drinks too. Lots of interesting ones.”
“This location has some of the friendliness staff. I feel like I'm supposed to when shopping in my cute little town surrounded by cities; welcomed and appreciated. Im a sucker for a good grocery outlet and this one hits the mark. Its only not a 5 because other locations carry a bit more of what I like to buy and its not as personalized as other locations. Otherwise 10/10”
“So glad we finally have a Grocery Outlet in South Hill Puyallup! I don't have to go to Bonney Lake or Tacoma! Always appreciate the Professional Cashier & Stocking Team because they are so helpful! Great deals and surprising specialty goods! Be sure to buy it when you see it, it won't last long!”
“I love love this store is the best grocery outlet store in Washington. The store is super clean well stocked friendly employees and the owners are always there working super hard Keep it up beautiful store.”
“Some of the nicest people i know. And i have known the owners since day one. Any negative review,i would suggest you give them a try again. While I've never encountered anyone being rude, i would say everyone has a bad day. But i wouldn't make a opinion unless i was well informed.I love this store and the people that own and run it, and have been very blessed to know these people for sure, keep up the great work, and thank you for being a important part of our community. Not to many small stores like this, around, and they built this store from the ground up. Much respect!!”
“I like this particular Grocery Outlet!, more variety, shorter lines, this store is always clean and have plenty of staff there( no 1 cashier action there!). You see the managers actively working and engaging with customers to find out if they need any help locating something ?”
“This is one of the best Dollar Tree Stores I have shopped at. I have been to a lot but I am a repeat customer when I see other stores are not as clean, organized and the staff are professional. Easy to find things as there is common sense organization.”
“There's days that they have 75% off I have been able to find brand new clothes with tags on them I went there to find a deep fryer I found a brand new one with 75% off I paid $3.50 I also found brand new silverware that was very reasonable and brand new dishes they keep the store clean and neat color coordinate clothes very friendly help I'm not a thrift store shopper usually but now I am thank you for being so kind and helpful they're very beautiful people that enjoy their jobs”
“This dollar tree has nice things for kids and clean .... i had a good experience shopping there...also there was a squishy cat that was pink and glows in the dark very cool for kids ?”
“I had a good experience there one lady helped me find what I was looking for. The you man at the register was polite and asked if I wanted a bag. I felt like I was in the 90s for a minute”
“Wow, what a surprise. This Dollar Tree in Milton is bright, wide aisles fully stocked and had more than one harried employee. The Dollar Tree nearest my real house is a dump with empty shelves. It's probably going to close. It's nice to see some stores are well maintained.”
“This place is great for crafts and holiday garb candy household things. The Toys are just plastic to fill landfills but it’s great for cheap gifts and to entertain my kids. They are learning to manage their money shopping here and learning the value of their dollar. Good variety and can’t beat the price.”
“Kristina is very helpful and sweet:) She helped me out when I was looking for another option in the water bottle I wanted, the original one had a faulty straw. Thank you!”
“This location is awesome! The store constantly stays stocked. The cashier's and every other employee here are very hard working and sweet! If I could give 10 stars I would. Also the managers are amazing!”
“All of you people who negatively criticize these stores and complain have no idea how underpaid, overworked, and understaffed this company is. You’ve obviously never worked in retail, specifically a cheap, inhuman company that doesn’t value their employees. Guess how much the “hazard” pay was during COVID??? .25-.75 cents!!!! And the reason the stores are a mess are because the CUSTOMERS don’t care, realize, or respect the store it’s self and how hard these very few employees actually work. My advice, if you pick something up and then decide you don’t want it, put it back where it belongs and stop belligerently ripping through the originally neatly stacked and organized product on the shelves and show some patience when you’re waiting in line! You know gawd dang well that if you go to a store, especially at peak hours, you’re gonna have to wait in line, that’s what being a consumer entails. And while you’re waiting in line, maybe reorganize something that’s out of order or pick up something off the floor, it’ll pass the time and help the overwhelmed and under appreciated employees. Also quit letting your children play in the store like it’s a McDonald’s ball pit, CAUSE ITS NOT! You wanna blame ??? Call the corporate office! They’re the ones that should hear about the strife and struggle that their stores are going through! Then maybe you’ll really see where the problems’s coming from, cause corporate DOSEN’T CARE!!! Their bottom line is money, not people!!! It’s really easy to complain for all of you, but in the time you’ve taken to complain, you could’ve been a kind HUMAN and thought of an actively positive solution to the problem, instead of belittling the other HUMANS that work there. If we as a collective society can’t stop wrongfully and negatively judging others, over something that’s clearly a big corporate problem, not a people problem, then we’re doomed to fail. I wish you could all see how petty and selfish you’re being and stop bickering and blaming each other and start seeing the bigger issues at hand!! Stop passing the blame, stop projecting, stop bullying and take some accountability and time to use your heart instead of your ego and your displaced anger…Put yourselves in the other person’s shoes, get off your high horse, and stop looking down on them with malice, carelessness, shame, disregard, and disrespect and start asking them if they’re ok, or if there’s anything YOU can do to help! NONE OF US HAVE THE RIGHT TO JUDGE! BUT ALL OF US HAVE THE POWER AND ABILITY TO CARE AND HELP!!!”
“They are currently hiring as of right now . The staff are the sweetest ,the store is clean and organized threwout every shifts. They also added a ton of food items and of course some items are not a dollar but check it out .”
“I get my energy drinks in bulk here, good selection. Short staffed, but the employees are enjoyable and compensating considering the stress it takes to be down so many people.”
“I was half tempted not to even go here because of all the vagrants around the building on the outside. didn't look it safe to park at but I did anyways and it's mainly women stepping this store location lots of clothes I mean lots and lots and lots of clothes”
“I like this store, they have pretty good stuff, I also like on how they have some clearance for $0.25 cents. Now sometimes other stores have good weekly sales for $1.00 so shop wisely and look for those sales on the other stores. P.s. love there $1.50 dog toys and cat litter and other stuff you would pay an arm and a leg. So go to the dollar store.”
“The place is really a go to get out place know need to wait around and look too much becouse you stroll in and out i cant stress how convenient it was to shop here the mrs loves it.”
Burlington Stores is giving its locations a major makeover. The off-price retailer has already transformed about half of its 1,115 stores and plans to complete the redesign across its entire fleet by the end of 2026. The company calls this makeover "Store Experience 2.0." Gone are the cramped aisles and confusing layouts that once defined discount shopping. Instead, Burlington is creating wider walkways, organized sections, and clearer signs to help shoppers find what they need.
Dollar General is adding more of its private label food offerings to stores, following similar moves by big retailers like Walmart and Amazon as store brands keep growing in popularity. The store is launching new items under its own labels, including ice cream, cinnamon rolls, coffee syrups, and salad dressings. The move comes as store brand sales reached $271 billion in 2024, up nearly 4% from 2023.
Daiso, the beloved Japanese retailer known for its variety of affordable household goods, is expanding further in the U.S. market. This week, the company is celebrating the grand openings of three new stores in Texas and California. On Saturday, Aug. 10, Daiso debuted an 8,000-sq.-ft. location in Beaumont, Texas, at Dowlen Towne Center, as well as two Southern California stores - a 6,319-sq.-ft. space in Van Nuys at Mid Valley Marketplace and a 5,200-sq.-ft. store in Westminster at Westminster Center.
Dollar Tree is moving into 170 former 99 Cents Only stores, marking a big shift in the discount retail landscape. The company announced Wednesday it's taking over leases in Arizona, California, Nevada, and Texas, with plans to reopen the stores under its own brand as early as fall 2024.
Ollie's Bargain Outlet just landed a great deal of its own, winning a $14.6 million bankruptcy auction for 11 former 99 Cents Only store locations across Texas. The discount retail chain pounced after 99 Cents Only abruptly went out of business in March, shuttering all 371 of its stores in California, Arizona, Texas, and Nevada. Ollie's quickly made an opening "stalking horse bid" to grab over a dozen of the empty properties.
