Had to wait 30 minutes to learn there wasn’t a teller service then was lied to about depositing roles of coins. I was forced to pay a fee at the division location after the banker at the Spokane valley location said he could just take my coins and send them over to be deposited but never mentioned a fee. I only learned about the fee after I took the coins to the division location and was met with that as a surprise. It was also a lie at the Spokane valley location that they could take my coins and send them to the division location to be deposited.Edit: Wanted to change this review since BECU did the right thing and fixed the issue. I would just say for now on be upfront with your customers is all I ask. Instead of having to hear different stories from each branch.

I went to BECU at 615 North Sullivan today and was basically horrified when I left. This Branch for the valley is horrible! Maybe this is the cool thing for the rest of the world but it sucked for us in the valley. There are no tellers inside. Period. When I walked in there were two ATMs on my left and a row of about five people and open cubbies helping customers. That's it for the entire valley! I was working with the lady that was really nice and patient with all my questions but then I needed to use the restroom and she's like I'm so sorry there is no restroom. WHAT? I asked her, what if I need teller services? She said I could go to PrimeSource Credit Union. What if I need an ATM? You can go to Numerica right across the street or Horizon or Global, etc. WHAT? TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED. The other location on East Mission in the valley doesn't do banking. Wow, BECU. I gave an extra star only for the girl that I talked to which again was really nice and that was the only reason they received two stars. Plus, lighting in there was really bad and it looked really dark it was just really bizarre. Ambiance was horrible and just felt really wrong walking in at that location as soon as I walked in. Yuck

Needed to make a deposit this morning. The lobby with the atms is always open so there's a homeless person with his shopping cart, and bicycle living in there. I don't know if they're drunk or on drugs so I deposited at stcu instead. Their lobby has a security device that only members can access. Also a drive up atm

They put a block on my card because i toggle my card off when i’m not using it and the condescending girl on the phone kept asking why i need to turn it off and on. Um because i’m not using it and i do that with my other banks with no problem??? they told me to stop doing that or i’ll have to call everytime i do it. I’ve had this card 3 years and this has never been an issue until now. Then 2 days later my card is blocked again and i didn’t toggle card on or off but it’s sunday so of course no one’s there. Worst credit union ever. Ridiculous.

This branch has the most unprofessional staff. They feel the need to belittle my wife every time she goes in there. I ask them if she can come in and pay my mortgage and they say yes. But they make sure to treat her like a second class person and make her feel horrible when she leaves. If this was just once it would have been forgotten but no it has happen every single time for the last year and a half. The lady that was supposed to be in charge just laughed.

They don't have no branches you could actually exchange money or bring money into it they don't only place they do have is by the airport in Seattle Washington burien or Everett Washington... All we got a credit union is deposit direct deposits two to three days early they do not they hold the money back and collect interest on us.. we're the only credit Union that still won't pay the retirees two days early it should be fixed cuz a lot of people will leave if it isn't

This is the Best credit union I've ever had! They're always helpful, very nice, easy to get along with. They are so quick to help you out with any and all of your banking needs. To belong to this credit union, you will be happy with everything. You will be so much wiser to be a member of BECU credit union! I'm glad I found it. I'm not going to any other bank or credit union. You truly can't do any better. I've done my share of searching for the Perfect credit union. Banks are not safe for your money ?, like a great credit union. Safest bet is with BECU credit union!!

I had a simple question about deposits to my account. I can't even speak to a live person... there doesn't seem to be any customer service at all. Just computers and machines, and a bunch of hoops to jump through. And a 10 minute wait just to speak to someone, is not good customer service by any means. Matters are often urgent, and BECU is not... I'll call a bank to get my question answered, they take my calls. Not happy.

This is the worst bank I have ever dealt with. I have a single loan with them and I have to call them at least once a month because they take money when they aren’t supposed to and over draft my accounts. Also customer service was very unwilling to work with me on figuring out exactly how these issues continue to happen. I have been doing this for over 2years now. Like clock work once a month I wait at least 45 min to be told “sorry you just have to double pay -again- this month” they refuse to refund late fees even though I always pay correct and on time. Not to mention they don’t have live tellers at any of their physical locations I have visited. I’m consistently locked out of my online account. Do not waste your time with such a corrupt, inconsistent and inconsiderate bank

Josh is amazing! He’s polite, he knows his stuff, and he’s very timely! I ran into a few roadblocks trying to set up my loan and register my new car during covid. Josh was so helpful during the process and I couldn’t thank him enough!

This branch is above average for this institution. I was pleased with the service here from James and glad that he did not make me feel like an inconvenience. Still not a fan of some of their policies but I'll go to this branch before any others.
