They continually expand into niches customers ask for, including a garden center and pet supplies. Reviewers call it the best Ace Hardware store, with better service than big box stores, and note it is impressive.

I had a problem with my weed eater and I took it in and within 10 min Mark had it fixed. Very knowledgeable about their products and extremely helpful. Better than Home Depot or Lowe’s

This is by far the BEST Ace Hardware store I have been to! They definitely have folks who know their how to help and what to ask when it comes to helping simple people like me. The customer service is the best too; attentive and friendly without being too invasive.
