I walked in looking for two simple things—matches and gloves. Right off the bat, I was greeted by a guy who turned out to be the manager. Not only did he point me straight to what I needed, but when I hit the register, he didn’t miss a beat. He gave a polite upsell pitch, and even convinced me to sign up for one of their store cards. The man nailed every single point on the customer service checklist. Kudos to him.
In a new world full of customer service zombies, this was a breath of fresh air. A proper retail experience—rare, but appreciated.

I had a problem with my weed eater and I took it in and within 10 min Mark had it fixed.
Very knowledgeable about their products and extremely helpful. Better than Home Depot or Lowe’s

This is by far the BEST Ace Hardware store I have been to! They definitely have folks who know their how to help and what to ask when it comes to helping simple people like me. The customer service is the best too; attentive and friendly without being too invasive.

They charged me a lot of money to sharpen 6” chain saw blades when I only paid $20 on Amazon to purchase 2! Manager was rude! Will not be back will never recommend them ever. Way over priced on everything. I should have known better
