I was heading into town and was going to be arriving right at 7 when they closed and only had to drop off my trade in phone. I called and Sam answered and told me he would let me in when I arrived and no worries if it was a few after 7. Well I apparently called the wrong store because I went to the one by Fred Meyers and got it turn in. About 15 after 7 poor Sam called to see if I’d still be stopping by to do the trade in. I apologized profusely and Sam was completely understanding. although I didn’t do my actual business here, Sam was great by staying late and I’d definitely recommend! Awesome customer service!

I DID NOT want the Next Up, I was transparently clear. I did NOT want the insurance, again very clear.. Well, Andrew P. decided he would add them and explained, "that's how ATT does it and the customer must call to 611 cancel", lies, I called 611 and after 20 min on hold, it was explained to me that Andrew did NOT have to add those items. Now I need to wait 14 days before calling 611 AGAIN for another round of "please hold". I can't cancel Next Up for 14 days due to "cool of return" policy. Guess I will take advantage of that policy first thing in the morning!

Said it would be less then $200 1st bill $405 they said in a contract now so no getting out of it. Have to take them to small claims court

Glad I went to the ATT store! The online guy I talked to really screwed us over. I had a 26% service discount with my previous job. The guy on the phone said as a veteran I could get a 25% discount for life regardless of my job status (if I changed positions or something). Well he neglected to tell me that it was only if I was active duty!? The veterans discount is only 15%, so I'm an instant loser in that respect. Just so happens I had a career change and I can't go back to my other discount, so we're screwed. I'd switch, but whatever they tell you the other carriers are just as bad. At least the guy in this store was honest and up front with me. He knows his stuff. Didn't try to sell me on anything else either. Will go back there instead of online when I need anything else.
