Super 1 Foods - Manito is a good overall grocery store with all the staples and then some. The store is a nice size, clean, and well-stocked. It offers a good selection, including fresh produce. The prices may be slightly higher than chain stores because it is locally owned, but many find it worth it. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and provides excellent service, making it easy to get in and out. The store does a lot of its own baking and has a pretty good array of cooked items all day long. Standout items include an awesome breakfast burrito and delicious chicken from the deli. The bakery can create custom cakes, which are moist and delicious, often seen as an exceptional value. The store also has unique features like a police car shopping cart. While generally positive, some mention that the loss prevention staff can be overly watchful.
