One thing that really stands out is that they are a Fear Free hospital. They go above and beyond to make the clinic a safe, calm, and comfortable environment for everyone. You can tell that reducing stress for pets is something they take seriously, and it makes a noticeable difference in the overall experience.
The veterinary team is professional and thorough, but they also have a very personal approach. We didn’t feel rushed, and we feel like our pets are being treated as individuals rather than just another appointment on the schedule. The clinic is clean, welcoming, and the entire staff has been wonderful to work with.

“We have had such a wonderful experience with Indian Trail Animal Hospital! I have seen three different veterinarians there, and every single one has been absolutely amazing. They are compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly take the time to listen to my concerns as a pet owner.
My German Shepherd has a severe chicken allergy, and when he had an allergic reaction, they were able to get him in and treated right away. I also want to give a special shout-out to the veterinary technicians, especially Levi, who was wonderful to work with and made us feel so well taken care of.
I really appreciate how stress-free and welcoming the office is. Everyone is attentive, caring, and genuinely concerned about the well-being of their patients. I always feel heard and confident that my pets are receiving the best care possible.

“Wow! I have so many things to say about this place. First, I was in pure panic trying to find a vet to look at my mom’s cat which we thought had gotten attacked by a raccoon. I must’ve called 15 places- nobody could get us in same day and I encountered some extremely rude receptionists through out these calls(ridiculous)- my last call was to Wandamere animal hospital. As I told her what was going on they were immediately comforting and said they could get him in! After battling my mom’s cat getting him in the crate, driving him there and walking in, I was greeted with smiles kindness and support! They knew his name and got back to a room within 5 min! They sprayed the room with calming pheromones - the room was immaculate and nothing I’ve ever seen before! Dr came in within 10 min and from the get go was so kind! She took one look at him and said- it’s a burn! Not a raccoon bite! The cat was loving her as soon as she let him out of crate! She assessed him and talked me through the entire process. She gave him a shot, cat didn’t flinch! Loved on him gave me instructions for pain meds and after care- in and out in 40 min. My heart couldn’t be happier with the care and love they all showed for me and my moms cat! I’m hoping to get my animals established with them now. I’ll never go anywhere else! Incredible experience!! Exactly what you need when your so worried for your pets! So many thank yous!!!”

Dr. Shaver has truly been a godsend for my sick kitty, Cinder. She is incredibly compassionate and consistently goes above and beyond for my cats. She takes the time to thoroughly explain what’s going on, walks me through different options for next steps, welcomes questions, and genuinely treats care as a collaborative process.
It means so much to have a veterinarian who not only has the knowledge and expertise you want, but who very clearly cares about the animals she treats and the people who love them.
I foster kittens constantly, and I always recommend that their adopters establish care here because I’ve had such wonderful experiences with Dr. Shaver and the entire clinic. I feel very lucky to have found them. ❤”

“Our cat Emmy had a pretty bad jaw injury and we were referred here from the Vet ER. We also got a better idea of what happened to her, thanks to the expertise of Dr. Kern. She also did a much more thorough exam of Emmy, then the ER did. Everytime I took her in here I knew she was getting the best care. The staff was always kind and professional. It is amazing the progress Emmy has made in just a month and a half thanks to amazing dentists and staff at this facility. I am so grateful to them for taking such good care of Emmy!”

Today 7/30/24 Dr Mark made room in his schedule to see my son's ferret within an hour of our phone call requesting if it was possible to get an appointment. ? All staff were friendly as was Dr Mark, and he is just so informative, relaxed, friendly and not pushy towards expensive tests right at the get go. We both immediately felt comfortable w Dr Mark's approach in treating our ferret. My son has a disability so he easily gets upset and has limited financial resources as well. But he really likes Dr Mark and has trust w the "doc". I'm a retired Veterinarian assistant so I understand more about these medical issues than my son, and I was very impressed w Dr Mark! Thank you Hunter Veterinary Clinic! 5 all the way!”
“Our cats have been patients of ITAH for years! Dr. Brown was the first doctor we met, and he took wonderful care of our older cat. Dr. Armstrong was so caring and helpful when Marley the cat ended up needing his tail amputated after a freak accident. Most recently we saw Dr. Kuhn and he was so kind and affectionate toward our older cat when she was having urinary issues, and helped ease my fears. Unfortunately we moved across country in the last few months but we will continue to recommend ITAH to all our Spokane animal friends!”

“I Adopted a 2 yr old female Chihuahua here. They were very good to deal with. We've been back to get vaccinated. But I hadn't looked at this website before so I didn't know they do a lot of other things too, like nail trims, etc. I was looking for a place to donate dog food that my picky eater Chihuahua isn't eating. I was going to go to S.C.R.A.P.S. because I can wait inside for the bus to come take me home. But after seeing this site and reading that they're in trouble, I decided to bring it here instead. I hope this shelter can stay in business forever because Spokane NEEDS THEM!!

Rarely is one of the best Paratransit drivers we've ever had. The lady with her 2 daughters is the Ombudsman for Spokane Transit that helped make an exception for Honey so she can ride safely on the paratransit buses.”

However more recently it’s been much more consistent and Cody the front desk associate is really awesome so I wanted to share. I can’t give 5 stars but Cody is so kind and helpful when I have questions, he’s taken my overall opinion of banfield up with his personality and professionalism and that’s something I felt lacked in the past.”
“Dr. Scott Habegger, Inland Equine Veterinary Service, came to our home to check on our Tennessee Walker within a day of our calling him with concerns about her coughing. We knew she was not in a critical state or he would have made the time to come by sooner. We like the fact that he was willing to work with us based on our factual assessment of our horses needs. Very kind, very thorough, patient and reasonable rates. We plan that he will be our vet until our horses are gone. They’re in their mid 20s now.”
