We purchased a new GE Profile washer and dryer. We used it a few times and found that when it went to spin the clothes it bounced and banged around, stopped , started filling again and went in to balancing mode, several times. We finally watched it when it was banging around and tried several times to balance the load before it finally spun the water out. When we went in to the Tacoma store, to see about returning them and upgrading to a Speed Queen, Darren told us we had to go home, take pictures of both units, and send them to him. After we did that Darren told us we had to call GE and have them come out to see if they could fix the washer. I then called Eric Mulkin, manager, we got the same run around from him, call GE and have them come check it out. The GE repairman came out, he's ordering a new drum, shocks, springs, etc. and will be back March 1, 2024 to replace the parts on our brand new washer that we can't even use. We cant believe the run around we've gotten on a brand new washer. We have purchase a few appliances from Albert Lee, and this will be the last time we step foot in their business and suggest that anyone thinking about purchasing appliances go somewhere else, their customer service doesn't exist. I am VERY pleased with the interactions I had with Albert Lee Appliances to date. My journey started when I purchased a "scratch and dent" LG Top-Loading washing machine from the Tacoma Mall Location. I was assured it was only there for a cosmetic scratch, and LG would honor their 1 year parts warranty, if any problems arose.Upon installation, the machine showed signs of defect, and was displaying an "LE" error (load off balance). I tried all diagnostic steps before I called the store back to advise them of the issue I was having.The sales staff forwarded my request to Albert Lee's Customer Service team for processing. Tyrell M. reached out to me and arranged for an LG service person to come and diagnose the issue I was having with the new machine.LG Service determined the drum was damaged (possible the machine was dropped). That report was delivered to Albert Lee, and for whatever their reason was, they determined they did not have to honor their warranty to replace my machine.Fortunately for me, Tyrell realized this was not a fair practice by LG so he sought approval from his manager, to have Albert Lee replace my washing machine, or use the amount I paid, applied to another make or model. It turns out the machine I purchased as "scratch and dent" retailed for $400 more. Seeing this as a barrier to replacement, the salesperson at Albert Lee, Cliff, offered the same LG machine to me at a reduced cost.Knowing I may have to pay more out-of-pocket to get a working machine, Cliff made the transaction a lot easier than I anticipated and I was happy to only have to pay <$200 more than I originally paid.I will recommend Albert Lee to anyone I speak with because of this experience!Thank you!

Sales staff were great and extremely helpful. We purchased multiple appliances at the same time. The big problem came in when one of the units, a double wall oven had discoloring on the door. It was delivered in November and upon delivery, I shared the concern. The delivery guys were awesome and tried to buff it out, but agreed it was a manufacture issue. I asked what's next, since I am rejecting the unit. We signed off on the delivery inspection that the unit was damaged. I was told an appliance doctor would be in touch. In December I call, they connect me with the appliance doctor who does not know about the issue and then needs to order the new door. Finally get a call, two months since delivery, that they can schedule a time on a week day, when I work, to install the door, but they can't give me any time frame until the day before. I call the Albert Lee manager and was essentially told that since I accepted the item there is nothing they can do about it and that is their policy, regardless if the unit is untouched and still in the box in came with in my garage where it was delivered. I learned my lesson, regardless of what the Albert Lee staff share, inspect your appliances closely and do not accept anything unless it perfect. Update: I upgraded my rating two stars. I was able to contact the Tacoma branch manager, who was great at listening to the issue. Asked me to share photos of the scratches, followed up quickly with great communication, and really took care of the situation. I really was impressed her efforts to support my situation as a customer.

We’re terribly disappointed with Albert Lee although we’ve purchased from them in the past. We received a damaged and non-working dryer which we didn’t realize at first because the box was not damaged. Unfortunately, we weren’t ready to install the dryer for a couple of months so we kept it on the porch crated to protect it.When it finally got unboxed and installed we discovered the damage which must have happened at the factory or warehouse and immediately called Albert Lee. Now we find out the dryer is not repairable and Albert Lee won’t replace the damaged unusable dryer.

I bought a Bosch Dishwasher and had it installed, but it has an internal electrical problem that trips the circuit breaker. It appears that it cannot be repaired on Vashon. Albert Lee has no solution to this problem.

Worst customer service! Delivery guys refused to install range and just left it for my 79 year old mother to figure out, three days before Thanksgiving. Here's the full story: my motherhad a Viking range that stopped working and decided to switch to an electric range. She went to the Albert Lee at Tacoma Mall and they helped her select one. She mentioned she was switching from gas to electric and they told her at the store that they would not disconnect the gas hose and put a cap on, so she hired someone else to pull out the old range and cap that. When they delivered this Monday (three days before Thanksgiving) the delivery guys refused to wear booties to protect her hardwood floors, refused to put the range in place or even attach the electrical cord to it and just left it in the middle of her kitchen. So on Thanksgiving morning we are here hooking it up for her. Completely terrible customer service and a very stressful experience for a sweet little old lady who just wanted a functioning stove for Thanksgiving.

I deeply regret having trusted Albert Lee Appliance with my dishwasher purchase. The installers lied and tricked me into signing for a machine they had not fully installed. The store claims they have no control over the 3rd party installation outfit THEY HIRED to install the machine. I'm sorry I signed for this machine. I knew I didn't like it when they ran an empty load with it jutting out from the cabinets. Albert Lee won't take it back. They apparently would rather have an unhappy customer. The installers said the cabinet edge needed a slight modification for the machine to fit, to call their cell phone when that was done, and they would come back and finish the job. It's been done and they have been ghosting me for two days now. I wish I had trusted my gut and forced the installers to take it back. Shopping at Albert Lee has been a miserable experience.

Excellent customer service. Huge selection of appliances. They price match ... the price of the appliance was same as what we were seeing with other locations and on line. They deliver and haul away for one price. Their price by far was lowest and they had quickest delivery date.

Edit: I'm adding a star to this. Got a call from the customer service manager to further explain the situation with more concrete next steps to set expectations. He said he'll update me without me having to call in, which is a big part of what I had wanted to hear from the previous rep but didn't get. However my issue is still not fixed yet so I'll leave this at 3 stars for how and see what happens. ---- So far I'm not impressed by the customer service at Albert Lee. I bought an exhaust fan from them last year and bought the insurance for the appliance. After having it installed, the exhaust's motor failed within a week. The tech who came to investigate said it's a motor failure, and that the original we bought is a lemon. After waiting for them to order the parts, they now tell me it's on back order with no estimated fix date. I asked Albert Lee to give me a replacement and the customer rep told me that they'll gather documents and send to the manufacturer to see what they'll do. I requested that they give me a call back the next day with an update so that I can stop chasing them. The customer rep responded that they get too many calls to be able to remember to call me back and asked me to call back until i get an answer. I expected better support with the customer service from Albert Lee, especially since I purchased the premium protection thru them. I do not think requesting a call back is too much to ask. I am disappointed by the rep's response which seemed flippant and dismissive. She ended the call without even a good bye.

DONT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE.I recently purchased an entire kitchen worth of appliances from Albert Lee in Tacoma. We spent in double digit thousands of dollars on higher end appliances for us.I have a family moving in in two days, no appliances and no way of moving them myself because of Albert Lee. Read on.The delivery crew showed up at my house 2 days before we move in and refused to deliver due to safety concerns. They cited that my front porch wasn't completed enough for them to safely move the appliances over. Let me explain, my porch and deck was completely rebuilt as part of our complete remodel, brand new ledger board using ledger locks directly into the brand new rim joist of the house. Joists were 16 inches on center and I had DOUBLED up (2 layers) of 1/2" OSB sheeting down. 8ft wide 6 ft deep. (see the photos) I even offered to screw it all down for them temporarily so they could deliver. Their dispatch center and subsequently their sales team DENIED to move the appliances into our house. My options were to drop them off at the porch or reschedule for after our deck completion. (Deck surface wont be complete for several months)..... Ive had multiple trades over working and installing for months now using this sheeting to stand on.In the end, I had them drop the items off in my DOWNSTAIRS garage and am going to have to hire movers to come do what Albert Lee would not.DONT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. Give it to Weirs Appliance store instead.

I had a problem with refrigerator door sealing properly. I contacted Jennifer in Tacoma and she arranged to have a replacement delivered. The exchange was very timely and professional. Cody and Lucas made sure to show me all the features and how to adjust them. They cleaned up their work area and were personable. I also dealt with Palmer Balke, who authorized the exchange. I'm very pleased with Albert Lee and will order more appliances through them as needed in the future. Thanks everyone.
