I get really kind, very helpful, professional customer service anytime I am helped by Kris, she’s amazing. And the pharmacist David is always clear and very helpful.
But…
I have been coming to this pharmacy for almost two years and every time the African American lady, with pierced cheeks, and a heavier build is working, she is the total opposite. She ignores me, I never know when I’m supposed to come to the counter or not. She then stares at me saying nothing, not even “how I can help you.” I then have to start the conversation awkwardly not knowing what information to give her. She speaks under her breath so I can’t hear her, and I am not hard of hearing.
There is zero customer service.
She never puts my information in correctly and somehow my order is never filled properly when she is “helping”me.
Tonight on 8/26/25 at 7:55pm when I got upset, she not only did not offer any customer service. She was antagonizing and it looked like she found it amusing.
When I returned, I had someone else help me. They (Kris) noticed she had not entered any of my insurance information in.
Kris was very helpful I complained to her a little about the way the work had been treating me, and when the lady over heard it, she was laughing.
I’m very disappointed and tired of being stressed out when I am coming in to get my heart medication. It’s very unprofessional bullying immature behavior.

I have had good service in the past however I will share my two most recent experiences leading to the low review.
A month ago my wife called to fill a prescription of eye drops, they said they would and when I went to pick them up they said the medication was back ordered from the factory with no availability date. I asked for other options and the person I spoke to said to call the doctor to get a different medication. I instead called the Walgreens down the road, they filled it same day.
Today- I called to have the same prescription to be refilled and the person on the phone said the prescription was expired and I had to call the doctor to renew it. Again I checked mychart, the prescription said it was valid, so I called the Walgreens down the road and they filled it.
Either this is a Safeway system issue or a service issue. I would gladly retract my poor review if someone can prove to me otherwise.

Worst Safeway location and service ever provided by a pharmacy from their pharmacy tech Kris.
I tried calling the pharmacy for pick up my daughter’s and my medication but I was put on hold for 30 mins. I do t mind holding, I respect that they might be busy helping other customers, but being repeatedly hung up on is totally unacceptable.
My insurance told me I can pick up these medications 6-8 days before every 30 days supplies but Kris was the only one keep telling me “you can’t pick up your medication before 30 days”
I’m pretty sure she already knows I can get my medication every 22 days or 24 days instead of 30 days when she check my information from her computer but It seems like she just don’t want to give to me the medications so I had to drive other Safeway pharmacy one in the Lakewood town center and able to pick up our medications on same day.
I don’t know if she just don’t like my color of skin or she isn’t doing her job correctly and maybe she would need to go back to school and learning about “When can you give customer the medication”

A couple of the employees are pleasant but the service overall is difficult. When you call for a refill, the robot usually tells you it will be 3 days until your Rx is ready. I have asked 8 times to have the system fixed so I get calls when the Rx is ready. No luck and the employees couldn't care less when I ask them to fix the problem. They have limited hours on weekends and they didn't answer the phone for almost 15 minutes after they opened. When I finally got through to someone to explain that the Rx was supposed to be ready yesterday but the robot said it was "being processed," I was on hold a long time and was told unapologetically that the system had gotten stuck. My overall feeling is that most of the time they couldn't care less about their customers' concerns.

My pharmacy ?, always professional and helpful.
Helpful went way up the usual costumer service for me today.
I was way outside Safeway property when I tripped and fell down.
Pharmacy employee provided me with disinfectant swipes and bandaids.

This pharmacy location: The pharmacists (Ryan and Henri) and staff are friendly, professional and kind. They have helped me with specific issues and guided me to proper solutions when I needed it. Great place. Thank you!professional, patient and friendly even though they atrvalw great! B

Amazing staff. Rarely have an issue there. Always super friendly to me. Just be a kind person, and stop taking it out on them. It's not there fault if you don't have a medication "on time" either you took to much, OR it's the provider or insurance, that will make it a hassle for them. And they STILL try to take care of it.I love y'all!
