It is a bit of a drive to go here, but I drive to go here. It's the best place for art supplies on Pierce county. They have a high selection of papers. They have all the watercolor papers in whole sheets and even some bigger. They also have a lot of very beautiful decorative papers.

This place is colorful, lively and inspiring. It pulls out the creative in me. I love seeing crafts/art I used to do, currently doing, and would like to do in the future. Endless possibilities.

This store is the best place to shop for art supplies around. They have an incredible selection. The staff here are all really great. Everyone is helpful and knowledgeable about all their products as well as being easy to talk to. At the Tacoma Artist and Craftsman it’s obvious that the staff work hard to make sure customers feel welcomed in and comfortable asking for help. A big thank you to Liv, the store manager for caring so much and supporting the local soccer club’s annual fundraiser and helping make soccer more affordable for the youth in the community. The Norpoint Soccer Club is very grateful for your donation to the fundraising auction baskets. ?⚽️?

I love that I can ask a question about anything in the store and one or more of the staff have personal experience with it and are happy to share, as well as jump online and get additional info while I'm there. It's so refreshing to shop at a store where the staff knows a lot about what they are selling. Yay for friendliness and knowledge!

Just moved here and started an art class at TCC. I emailed them the supply list a few weeks ago, paid for it, and went in today to pick it up. WARMLY WELCOMED upon entry, and I felt like a real artist inside that gorgeous store. I ended up buying some more lovely items and when I left, I asked about a crystal shop and they looked up my options and sent me on my way. Highly recommend you visit AND follow them on IG - it's infinitely inspiring!

Great place to pick up art supplies of almost any kind. Some niche other items too. Staff are friendly but not intrusive, and helpful. Terrific place for budding or master artists.

The environment is very beautiful. There are a lot of good things. The attendants are wonderful. I'm just sorry I can't photograph and film the environment. We went to the store to ask for permission for the images and make a documentary for Brazil. But we were not authorized. unfortunately

Among the best art stores I've been too! Had a wide range of materials available. Found what I was looking for and more. The staff were all very helpful too. Also has an all gender restroom which I appreciated. Amazing atmosphere, can't wait to visit again!

So .... this is a nice art store with a friendly staff but I'm quite disappointed with them lately. Unfortunately I will not be coming here anymore as they literally never have what I need... and I have come here probably 7 times in hopes they would be in stock with what I need.
I'm a pastel portrait artist and I work with pencils. I have drove all the way here multiple times and just to see that they are literally out of everything I need. They are constantly out of black and white individual pencils regardless of the type of pencil. Pastel, Prisma, Polychromos, etc... If you know that's the most common pencil people need then why not order more stock of it? It doesn't make sense.

I love this place. The staff are super friendly, the stock in the store is relevant to fine art, and the prices are good - generally comparable to whatever you'd pay on Amazon. It's a great shop!
