This branch never has time for my business. Makes me want to move my banking business to US Bank.

I open up an account at this location, place a deposit, and a week later I get a letter saying that my account was closed. Another week after that, I get another letter saying that I need to go to a branch to confirm some things, or my account may be closed. Why did I get that letter a week after the first letter? I go to this branch, and a lady gives me a number to call. I call the number, and they refer me back to the branch. What a mess.

The Credit Advisor, Jawad at the N. Pearl location in Tacoma was helpful and friendly. I had trouble setting up my Savings account and he walked me through the process. If you need help with this in the near future I recommend you go see him at the N. Pearl st. Bank of America.

The Yelp reviews are out of date. There wait time to see a teller was short. I went there about 11 AM on 12-20-2022 and there were at least six people ahead of me plus the two at the teller windows. A third employee pulled one person from the line who had a simple one check deposit to make. End result was I waited about 10 minutes which I think is no big deal. The teller was very pleasant, thorough, and efficient. (Also, I went inside, but if you use the drive through, it does have a roof.)

Very slow service with only one working teller and long lines. While waiting, there are two other employees who are behind the one overworked teller but seem to be engaged in conversation with each other. I am unsure why they can't help customers; I have seen this many times and it's frustrating. Your customers have busy lives too. I know you want us all to bank online only, but sometimes there are questions or other concerns that need to be handled in person.

This place used to be super quick and friendly but now they are criminally understaffed. Usually with only one teller there and averaging 10-20 people in line. I have currently been in line for 30 minutes with only two people having made it through the line since and 8 people lining up behind me. Their new line of tellers seem to take their time and have no urgency. Horrible customer service for a bank.

Monday afternoon. 2:15 pm. One teller. Fail. I’ve banked here for over 30 years. Time to find another bank. Business banking fees are also climbing. More charges for less service. BOA no need for an apology just fix it. Stop blaming Covid.

Poorly run branch, awful service. Shame on BofA. Closing my account with these swindlers and taking my business elsewhere. Stay away from this awful company.

Always a great experience when visiting this branch. But I especially had a good experience with the assistant manager, Jennifer. She took care of my needs and was so polite and efficient. Great place to bank.

I believe banking should be a personal experience; as a form of job security it would make sense for bank tellers to value someone who wants to visit a branch. Not here, while explaining this customer, who started with Ben Franklin and has stayed with the same "bank" through several purchases, has been inconvenienced by the closure of the Allenmore branch and lack of ATMs near me I was met with a shrug and told they want us all to conduct our business online. That sealed the deal for me. I'll be in search of a bank that values my presence and makes being their customer easy. Based on the visit I just had I'll be expecting a thank you when I inconvenience B of A with my my next, and last, in person visit.

This is the ONLY Bank of America in Tacoma now that's fast, efficient, and worth visiting! There's never a long wait and the staff is quick. Only reason I didn't give it five stars is that they no longer have a drive-thru window that's open.

This branch is incredibly understaffed for being the only open branch currently in Tacoma. The short hours are completely inaccessible for anyone who works a 9-5 job. This is the third day in a row I have gone to this branch during my one hour lunch break to get quarters to do laundry and there is always just two tellers there helping people, with a line out of the door of people needing to be helped, and I was never successful in receiving the help I needed. I used to come to Bank of America because of how large of a bank it is and how readily available it was no matter where I went in the country, but I will be leaving in the new year. This bank is a completely unreasonable situation, having a single branch open in a large city like Tacoma, and it is no longer serving my needs.
