Do not get your finances imbedded in this company!Last month due to an anomaly in my account they canceled my debit card. I was out of access for a week. This month I had another anomaly and I called their security. I specifically told them I did not want to cancel my card. I would delete my online virtual card and generate a new one. I went to use my card at a local store the next day and it didn't work. I checked online and they had canceled it again. If they want to verify that, the security call was recorded as I was informed when I made the call.This company is a hassle!Next Day:I visited the bank and I had to get cash to cover expenses.I have no card and no way to pay bills:I got home and received this response by email:"We wanted to let you know about your credit line change as soon as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We want to make sure you understand how this change could affect you and what you can expect.We'll be sending you a separate letter by mail to explain why we made this change. Please read it carefully. It provides you with more detailed information.What the change means:Your new total credit line is $xxxx. Your new cash credit line, which is a portion of the total credit line, is $xxxx."Saturday a week later:No card in the mail today! The first time they canceled my card I got it by the following Saturday. This time they delayed in mailing it out and only mailed it out after I submitted the "next day" comment above. When they mailed it out, is was at night after the mail day was lost. I know this because they notify you when it is sent.I have no other source of cash except my credit card which they have restricted. Also, cash by credit card is expensive!

Worst customers service!!!Came to close my account and got told to call for an appointment. Next day I got charge with a monthly fee which won be refunded.

Days ago I went because they had closed my account.I didn't use it much and now I said I'll go because I need a direct deposit.But thank you very much they treat you better, happy and are not rude at U.S bankThey returned me twice and now it is the third time because I need my passport, etc., I only came to reopen the account but I realize that there are better options and I mean, I caught traffic and arrived 8 minutes late, the man told me to schedule another appointment. but it would be number 4, thank you very much, I prefer to change banks.The worst service in California they never treated you like this. I don't know why here. And at Spanaway's Banco America it is the same.They feel important.Horrible ?

Just tried to cash a $27 check and was denied. I am the executor of my deceased mothers estate. She passed in 2019 and for what ever reason Discover caught an over payment and sent me a check, made out in her name but with DCSD.I brought in my letter of administration and figured it wouldn't be a problem as as I've been a boa member for 25 plus years. The clerk called the manager over and she smugly declined me asking multiple times if my mother still had an open account.She made no attempt to assist me other than saying I should call Discover. Overall a very disappointing experience. Terrible service

Safe to say I will never open an account with Bank of America. They refused to answer any questions I had about currency exchange without me having to open an account.To the reply from BoA: Unhelpful reply at all, those terms are obvious. To clarify my question were what the exchange rates for foreign currencies that BoA offered.

So before, I gave a 1 star review because this bank had us waiting even though we actually had an appointment. However, Brook, the sweet and chipper teller, who ended up being assigned to us, turned the whole mood around. Which I know was not easy with grouchy ol me. I gave a 1 star review before when we were waiting, but because of Brook, not only do yall get a 5 star, but also know that this incident reminds me why I have banked with Bank Of America for over a decade. It's always been my experience with Bank Of America that they have always had the most down to earth ppl working for them.

B of A went from one of the most convenient banks to the least . They have closed several locations without notice or give any help on where the next closest is. Closed the drive thru tellers - reduce hours at few branches they have left - discontinued multiple transactions actions at ATM without having to re-enter atm card each time prolonging and wasting customers time - lines beyond belief at Federal Way location making zero effort to fix problem - seldom have merchant teller available due to poor or no staffing - again prolonging and wasting customers time - with all the cost savings has anyone seen a reduction in there fees

The lines are WAY TOO LONG at this branch, ALL THE TIME. Then there's a guy who pulls people out of line and helps people on the side because not all of the teller windows are open. Just bizarre. The people working there are always nice. They just need to staff this place appropriately for the number of customers they have.
