Debra helped with opening an account and she was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! Soooo patient and kind... we didn't feel rushed and she made us feel like we truly mattered. Her awesome personality really set the tone for a wonderful experience. I would recommend this bank simply based off of our experience with her! Congrats, BOA, on having such an amazing team member working for you. Her professionalism, kindness, knowledge, patience, thoroughness, and friendliness was beyond appreciated!

Not very good customer service. always answering the phone rude. Or the teller telling people oh you can do this at the atm now, like someone is going to change their minds after waiting in line to go outside to the atm NO! Just do the service that I'm asking for here at you window...

I had a bad experience with one staff so I can't generalize all. But overall that affected my rating on this location. For a bank employee, you would at least expect that staff would be able to know how to read and copy information that is typewritten and would at least ask a question if one does not know. The information clearly stated the address of the bank, but the staff wrote the address of the bank to the address of the sender while I was wiring a payment. Legal matters like this should be treated diligently. The staff did not even apologize claiming that he did not make a mistake. I've been a customer here for more than a decade and this is the first time that I felt that it was my fault for not checking it right. What is the point of hiring staff like this if they do not even know how to read and copy documents properly much less ask a question? This is a case of poor customer service and inept employee.

I just Left this bank at 306 pm the bank teller and manager are a so rude! The teller had the nerve to say she get upset customers all the time sO she is ovEr it! She did and said this in front of her manger and he has that nerve to ask me what's my problem! Chase bank in Lakewood and this Bank of America is so racist and rude! If you want amazing service go to WSECU on Bridgeport way right across the street from Bank Of America.

Been a customer of Bank of America for many years. The service in the Lakewood branch is slow, and unfriendly. My company does millions for dollars of business with BofA. I have to drive to the Parkland branch to get service, 15 minute drive each way but its faster and the people are great. Lakewood was a good branch years ago but it has really changed. If it was not so costly and time consuming to change our business accounts I would move now.

I am quite a nice person in general, but how the staff in this branch treated me was unacceptable. There was some problems with my account so I had to step into a financial center to have a banker solved it for me. The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful, however, my banker did not even put in a earnest effort into helping me solve my problem. He simply called up to the number to talk to that department, and they did not pick up for like 10 minutes. I was willing to wait for more but he seemed annoyed so he simply wrote down the number to me and had myself phone up to them. After calling them by myself, they representative told me that in order to solve my problem it has to be calling from the bankers' end. This frustrates me so much. Bank of America has a good reputation around me and my friend and I am sure that is true. But how that banker's attitude was totally unacceptable. If the customer is willing to wait, there is no point for a banker to send me off and have me phone up to them myself.

Long wait times, to few tellers. Drive up all closed when they were open the limit on withdrawals was to low so still had to go inside. Never anyone to greet you when entering the bank. Not the same customer service. We have been with BoA over 30 years with personal and business accounts. We stay because of the nationwide locations.

I stood in line to cash a check from a family member for 30 minutes. Got to the front of the line and was told I needed to get in a different line to get it verified. Was assured I would not have to stand in the original line again. After saying I did NOT want an account. I was told I could go back in line. Such a just 55 minutes and still in line. This is not how you gain customers. Such a joke.

In my experience this is the Worst branch ever. Wait time (for a human encounter) is ridiculous. In line for anything, and everything, except for the ATMs outside. They have the line barriers (roped off area corrals) that loop around like you'd see at Disneyland. Customer service reps are multitasking, for instance counting dollars while talking to you, and their friendliness is on par with some of the worst customer service I've experienced. It's always a wait, regardless of activity. I have yet to experience a pleasant transaction at this branch. The best they have to offer is ATMs outside.

This doesn't even deserve a star. Every month I have to stand in line for 20 mins just to pay rent. They are only open the hours I work during the week so I have to go on Saturday. They only ever have 2 people working. Today the manager was walking thru a line of 30 people asking what they were there for. I said to pay my rent and also mentioned that they need more than 2 people on saturdays. She glared at me and said "there are 3" I said well I only see 2 and one of them isn't doing anything. She ignored me and walked away. This bank is the worst ever. They don't accept cash from anyone who doesn't have an account and are very rude to their customers. I dread going in every month but I have to.

This bank is pretty convenient to places. Right down the street from the Town Square and on the bus lines. Can't complain when you have to go to a bank and cash checks or get money or simply apply for a loan or mortgage. This is the place to do it. One thing they do need though is more bank tellers. Two tellers the day I was there and more than 10 people in line is unacceptable. And the personal bank advisor he doesn't even greet you. You greet him and he just insults you then you walk away and he greets someone of his own race and helps them out. Not cool
