Bass Pro Shops is like stumbling upon a road trip paradise – a prime spot to let the kids burn off some energy. The turnstile entrance sets a cool tone, making it more than just a pitstop. This place is a retail giant, with a massive fish tank and critter sculptures turning it into a family adventure. And the charming fishing hut near the bathrooms? Quirky and picture-worthy. Even though we didn't explore every corner, we stumbled upon some awesome $5 Bass Pro Shop hats. It's a haven for family finds, and we left wishing we had more time to fully soak in the laid-back, adventure-filled vibes of this retail wonderland. I would highly recommend stopping here if you’re ever in the area!

Went to look at hunting rifles with my girlfriend, and the guys at the gun counter asked me to leave my girlfriend because I was helping her answer the questions.After walking off with our kid I was stopped and basically accused of making my girlfriend straw purchase a rifle for me. And the reason I couldn't help is because we weren't married.Shes a new fledgling hunter and gun owner and that experience was one of the most negative experiences thus far and how we felt accused of straw purchasing just by having me help is disgusting and disrespectful. We'll be taking our patronage elsewhere, do better.

Was here a few months ago in the Summer, came to see if they had golf clubs available since my father had a gift card. He was occupied in the restroom for a while so i was left wondering the store waiting. Regardless of that, after we arrived we realized they didn’t sell golf items and decided to check out what else they offered. The whole time before during and after i waited for my dad i was followed by just about every staff member present. While i waited for my father to exit the bathroom I had 3 of the same staff members pretend to either be shoppers or act like they had to attend to something in the aisle i was in. Not once was i asked if i needed assistance or if i had any questions, only received unwelcoming gazes of suspicion. By far the worst retail experience I’ve had, immediately felt unwelcome and could tell that the staff members only saw the worst in us.Expect to be racially profiled if you shop here. Only felt comfortable reviewing now as i did not want to risk running into any of the staff after leaving this review.

I phone called the Tacoma, WA three times today--and never had anyone pick up. (I was working at my desk) so I just let the phone ring wondering how long it would take for a pick up (the customer service line...and then the general operator line). I was auto-disconnected at around 7-8 minutes of waiting. I was not able to make contact with this store so I'm taking my business elsewhere. Terrible...customer facing and service.

The online store sucks. Won't let me order anything. Definitely not worth the time. I put in multiple orders and called multiple times and all they can tell me is that there is nothing they can do to help me get my order through. How can you run an online store and not help people trying to buy from your store. Fix your issues!!!

I spent 2 hours the first day before being told to order item online. I spent 5 hours at the gun counter today. Two hours in, I confirmed with staff I would be able to fill out the paperwork… on the 5th hour I was told none of the paperwork would count and I would need to come back after the 1st of the year. Then I was told since I didn’t pick up the firearm I already paid for before the first of the year it was be sold to someone else. I am without words.This is absolutely the worst service I have ever experienced.Update. Followed up with BassPro per their reply. Still waiting to hear back… their service continues to disappoint. What I’ve learning is Amazon is faster with better pricing. REI has higher quality products. Local mom and pop shops have the best service.

Don't buy a gun here. You will wait and then spend an hour doing the back ground (that's after the gun has shipped and is confirmed there). Then you come back on 10 days to pick up. The lines are so long, it is literally hours to get your turn in line. I went 3 days in a row, finally went right when it opened. Was still in a line and waiting. The have employees (a couple) who are always working then there are many who stay on back and will not help out with the 2nd and 3rd checks of your paper work. The employees who do work just sit there and call out over the radio for 2nd and 3rd checks, with the other employees just ignoring them. Then when they do show up, they act like they are doing you a favor and are very arrogant. Save yourself the trouble and go to a gun shop who wants your money.

Waiting time on que at gun counter stupid Ling wait. Biggest issue no batteries in any of the red dot sights for customer to try. I have astigmatism and need to see how they work. I won't waste my time there again
