I dropped in yesterday hoping to update my 2018 car system to one that could operate Android Auto and Apple Play for safety while driving, and the staff were friendly, knowledgable and responsive to my needs.
They said that typical install time was 2 to 3 hours, I mentioned that I had a time restraint that evening, and they collaborated to get mores staff and make it fit my time window. They called once during the install when they ran into an unexpected challenge to ask me about how I wanted them to resolve it and were done even before the stated time. I highly recommend their professionalism, experience and helpfulness. It was a bit pricey but the most important thing to me was speed and accuracy, so I didn't mind at all, and they were completely up front with me about the estimate.

Went in to get a Apple Car Play for our Motorhome, Dylan showed us some really nice systems and helped us choose the right one for our vehicle,
No pressure and jumped right into the install, We were done in a rapid fashion, the installer walked us through the set up and operation of our new unit !
Customer for life now !

I needed a new stereo receiver for my truck snd decided to further investigate my options. They friendly staff helped me pick out a receiver as well as a few high value upgrades, including a backup camera. They then installed everything while I grabbed lunch at one of the local restaurants. The entire process was quick and easy.

Overall it was good. When it came to cameras many employees said refer to the app as it was not an area they were familiar with. Then an employee came to my car because his co-worker had a call. He offered to help load the app. It took a long time to make things work. I’m not interested in bells and whistles, I just want it to work. It seems like they know product from a sales aspect but not so much on the operational side. So I’ll be trying to figure out how some things work.

My husband and I decided to add a dashcam to our vehicle. Kevin gave us excellent service and advice. There were convenient choices for our appointment. The installation was completed on time as promised. We are very pleased with our new dashcam and our experience with Kevin and Car Toys of Tacoma, WA.

Took my car in to get a head unit installed, I originally bought everything thinking I could do it myself but instead had to take it somewhere, I chose this place because it was closer, still charged me full price for the install which is fine, they got it in within 2-3 hours, I came back and tested it before I signed anything, the audio sounds terrible, and cuts out every 10 seconds which they would’ve noticed if they tested it, the technician was understanding but still said I need to pay full price again to get it fixed. Also noticed all of the wires not needed for the installation were taken out of my car, such as the cord needed for Apple CarPlay as well as some of the tools I bought to do the installation myself were taken. I refused to sign the document that stated I was satisfied, and the receptionist (tubby child with a beard) had a major attitude problem as soon as I started talking about the issues, (lil bro I was not satisfied with the shady job you guys did why would I sign that)

I had to be at Car Toys for several hours for a device replacement, and Dylan was incredibly helpful the entire time. He went out of his way multiple times to assist me, answer questions, and make sure everything was taken care of. His patience and professionalism made a long visit so much easier!

Zero stars.
I took my Tesla in for a roof rack and digital ad screen installation. They initially said they could do it, but the technician assigned was inexperienced. He called me multiple times, clearly unfamiliar with the process. Half a day later, I was asked to return because they forgot to have me sign a waiver. Just two hours after signing, I found out they had shattered my glass roof. When I confronted them, they hid behind the waiver, insisting it wasn’t their fault, and offered no apologies. Rohan, the manager, was rude and dismissive. I won’t trust them with my vehicles again. Now I’m facing a $2,500 repair for a $500 job. Thank you for everything you do.
