Cars-R-Us is awesome!!After having one car stolen and the other totaled, I was having trouble keeping hope. My current situation is not one for the weak, but these guys here showed me anything is possible even in the darkest moments.They were patient, relentless, and without judgement. Hands down one the best experiences! I had been trying to buy a car here for over a year now and due to life struggles kept restarting the process and having to bow out. But we worked with a great guy named Marquez and he stayed with us personally through the whole experience, and worked to make sure we got a good deal. He worked hard to find me and my family a great reliable car with no shmoosy salesman crud. The process was smooth and the whole dealership was amazing as well ! With the child friendly environment and close knit vibe it definitely made the experience! If anyone needs a car , THS IS THE PLACE !

I bought a car there today and I was so impressed how I was treated and the selection of vehicles was awesome! Mycredit was Mediocre at best. I ended up with a 2020 Nissan with only 23k miles on it. They got me credit union financing with a great rate. So happy I went there. I highly recommend Cars r Us on South Tacoma way.

Girlfriend and I went in on September 28th, 2023 to purchase our first car together. We started off wanting some cars that were a bit unrealistic for our newly developed credit situation but Marquez was able to help us find a car that we both agreed upon and was several thousand dollars cheaper. He was friendly and welcoming throughout our ENTIRE buying process. We noticed about halfway through our time there how bad some of the reviews are for this dealership but it was either no names being mentioned or names I wasn't familiar with. But what we did notice was every single review that mentioned both Marquez and Fernando (both of which were there while we were) were beyond positive and I'll stand with them. If you come to this place to buy, request one of the two. We went through Marquez and I regret nothing about it, very genuine guy. Feels like I ended up with more of a friend selling me a car rather than a typical salesman. Hats off to you Marquez, we love our 2015 civic!- Jen & Wes ♡

This was my first time buying a car and I had a great experience. Customer service was great and I got into a car that was within my budget and good on miles. From when I walked in to when I left it was stellar service. I ended up with a 2017 Hyundai Sonata and I'm completely happy with my car. If you need a high quality used car and have any type of credit go here. And I special thank you to Marquez Bell without him I wouldn't have had the great experience I had.

I was looking for a car for months and months finally came across something I really liked, was working with Marquez and he was great and actually held on to it for me til I could actually get there to look at in person which was amazing! They worked with me to get it my payment around the range I was looking at and was very happy with how they handled it. Definitely would recommend to go see Marquez if you are looking for a car he made the process very easy and simple and kept it real.

He was honest and upfront about meeting our needs and was not trying to sell us anything we didn’t need.No pressure and trying everything under the sun to help us with our situation and made it work after another dealership down the street couldn’t help us.

Went in to take a look at what was in stock and was considering purchasing my first car… Marquez was amazing! Helped me find multiple choices within my price range and narrowed it down to the best options. Anywayyyy walked out with a new to me car and I absolutely love it! The moment i walked in we were greeted and treated with kindness and respect. Marquez was honest with me about all of the vehicles I looked at with damage, gas mileage, accidents, and how the vehicle runs. They worked with me and helped me walk out with the vehicle I wanted. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for an affordable used vehicle.

Cars R Us uses illegal and deceptive selling practices such as Bait and Switch and misleading information. I purchased a 2006 Dodge Dakota on 5/26/23 from Cars R Us for $4,600. During the sale, I inquired about a problem with the power steering, the engine indicator light, and any other issues with the vehicle. I expressed my primary concern about buying something safe for my 15-year-old boys to drive as they are just going through driver's Ed.I was told the power steering fluid had just been overfilled, and they would fix that before I left. They showed me a diagnostic warning code that indicated a fuse needed to be replaced and the Carfax report that had a record of the vehicle being looked at by the company they work with, Meineke, and stated there were no problems. I continued to have difficulty with the steering and decided to get an inspection at Flat 4 Automotive in Olympia, WA. Their findings were: 4 stored diagnostic trouble codes, the first of which was the only one shown to me (1-P0157 o2 sensor low voltage bank 2 sensor 2, 2-P1776 solenoid switch value latched in LR position, 3- P0700 transmission control system (mil request), 4-P0700 repeat transcode), oil leaks at the timing cover, power steering rack and pump severely leaking, both inner and outer tie rod ends worn, severe rear main crank seal, minor transmission pan seep, output shaft seal transmission seep. Flat 4 Automotive stated the following work needed to be done to make the vehicle safe to drive: replace rack and pinion and inner tie rods, replace outer tie rods, replace power steering pump, replace the rear main seal, replace the transmission assembly, and replace the O2 sensor. This was at an approximate cost of $6,500. I contacted the dealership to express my dissatisfaction and frustration with them selling me an unsafe vehicle and requested a resolution. I was told to take the truck to their mechanic at Meineke, Terry. I had it towed there as it was unsafe to drive. Terry reported the only problem with the truck was a leak with the power steering and that it had to have been caused by me hitting a rock, and that it would be safe to drive. I went back to Flat 4, who informed me that the buildup from the leak would have taken at least a thousand miles of driving and was certainly not caused in the last 30 miles of driving. When I relayed to Cars R Us that I wanted all of the aforementioned items fixed or to return the vehicle, they offered to split the cost of replacing the rack and pinion or trading for a different vehicle on their lot. I agreed to come in to replace it with the Volvo with VIN: YV1TS92D421264695 if it checked out. Once I arrived, they told me they would not sell the Volvo and would not even start it for me. It was behind the building, blocked in by their other vehicles. The salesman, Bryan, said they do not plan on ever selling that car. I asked why it was shown online in their inventory, and he said it draws people in, and then they sell them something else on their lot. I said that was a bait and switch, and he said I could call it what I liked. Every other vehicle would require us to pay more and did not appear in better shape than the truck. Finally, they offered to take the truck back, but they would keep $1,000 to replace the rack & pinion, and detailing. This was extremely frustrating because the truck had not been used and did not need detailing, and I was not responsible for the repairs that needed to be done. They finally agreed to write, "Cars R Us does not imply customer caused damage." I believed this was the best resolution I would get and accepted it. The Volvo remains on their website for sale, and the truck is back on the website with a stated odometer reading of 165,715 miles, yet is had 165,738 when I purchased it and probably has about 25 more miles on it now.
