DaVita Central Tacoma is slowly losing my 5 star rating with them. I feel I am getting the run around. You see I am currently using a walker and they freakin mixed my walker up with another dialysis patient's. I've been trying to get help with this situation and no one seems to be helping meVERY FRUSTRATED

If I could give a half of a star rating I would. Like other google reviews already said Davita recruiters are not even close to a half star rating . My personal experience is similar to Julia but even worst . My phone didn’t even ring, 10 minutes after I got a missed call from a scam number and a voicemail from Davita with no call back number . So I emailed the recruiter that I was in communication with immediately . Crickets from that person for hours . 4pm rolled around , finally got a reply back with basically a run around with irrelevant information offering “ Would you like to reschedule your interview?” I was like “ only if you would be able to give me an est based salary “. Got a number from the recruiter, it was about 20% less than an average start pay elsewhere within the same county. No sign on bonus nothing na da. What a waste of time! A family member was also a patient that gets weekly treatments from davita. Parkland location is way nicer and much better service .

Applied for a job here and did all the work on indeed and there website too and had an interview but when it came time for the interview their number came up as a scam and they're not picking up the phone call either. Its a whole scam for both sides especially on indeed. They tried to take my personal information but I didn't let it get that far. I was just trying to get a job. Do not trust them!! Just a warning. Protect your information.

Will visiting this Tacoma location I encountered an elderly woman named Sue in the elevator. It was clear that she worked here so I greeted her and asked if she knew where the restroom was on the first floor? She replied there was no bathroom. So I rode back to the 2nd floor as there are only 2 floors. I then asked her if she knew where the restroom was located on this floor. She looked me up and down and replied in the most condescending and irritated tone that "there is no bathroom on this floor, maybe go back to where you came from and ask them there." She then promptly exited the elevator which she filled with the most obnoxious smell of cigarettes and walked away. 30 seconds later I asked the receptionist working at Labcorp(in the suite next door), who assured me that the shrew of a lady I was speaking to and I were simply a right turn and 40 feet away from the public restroom. Absurd. I of course spoke with the sweet Facility Administrator Ashley who apologized and promised to speak with her. Unfortunately, the damage has already been done. As a Provider and Community Health Worker I am aware of the importance of humility and respect when dealing with the communities that you serve and human beings in general. Discrimination biases have no place in a workplace where you are dealing with any human interactions but Sue made sure her disdain for my kind was apparent. She projected a lack of integrity and professionalism and as such I could not see myself trusting her or those like her with my care. In addition to working in this community I am also a referring Provider for the Tacoma/Pierce County community. A Provider who now will vow to never refer a client of mine to this DaVita Dialysis Center. The treatment that I received was inexcusable and a poor example of the Health Equity and Social justice educations that I am sure DaVita provides to its staff.

The staff is the best. The care is excellent. The cleanliness and safety are superior. I feel like they care about me.
