Update: the company still won't fix anything so I took the couch apart to see what was happening and see if I could fix it. What I found was the frame was bent in multiple locations from thin metal and very poor construction quality in the wood and about 50% of screws and bolts were totally loose. See the pictures for yourself.OriginalI recommend you avoid this companies furniture unless you are ok with furniture that fails after a few years. Got a 2 couch set in late 2018 and there is only 2 of us that used them. The first one started showing signs of the seat mounding up and failing after 3 years and then we changed the location of the 2 couches so we would use the other one and in 2 years it failed in the seats also and the frame has sagged so bad that it almost hits the ground and when it reclines, the frame hits the motor housing gets caught which you can hear in the video and the sagging is obviously worse if someone is actually sitting on the couch.Had the furniture company reach out to the manufacturer and they won't do anything. My parents had a couch and chair from them that the seats did the same exact thing too. My parents use their furniture a lot more so I thought they just over used it and they could be ok since they are an American company. Turns out I was completely wrong. We treated the furniture well and I'd say we have light to moderate use of them. You can be the judge based on the pics but id steer absolutely clear of a company that produces poor quality products that fail and the company won't stand behind. For reference the center seat is almost never used and is how they seats started out.

I have purchased 2 emerald products. They appear to be off good quality but do NOT hold up. One ripped in the seams and one had the springs come undone and made the seat LUMPY. Do NOT buy Emerald products!!!!!!!

Purchased a U3164 sofa and chairs July 2021 and within a year of use by 2 people all of the padding was completely flat, buttons popping off, nails popping off. The worst of it is that they are by far the MOST PAINFULLY UNCOMFORTABLE furniture we've ever sat on. We avoid sitting on them at all cost and everything is covered with blankets and pillows to make them a bit more bearable. Spent $2000 on them and can't afford to purchase anything else.

For every 50,000 transactions, there is going to be one bad review. Unfortunately we don't often see all the good reviews because people don't leave good reviews. I have never been so impressed with a company's customer service team as I was today. Love my Amelia bed that I get compliments on ALL THE TIME. I'm a loyal customer and will continue to purchase Emerald Home furniture. They're beautiful, quality products. Can't wait to buy a new sofa set and table!

**ETA: After going back and forth they sent us a new bed after we returned the other to Amazon. The new bed came with all of the pieces and looks great put together! They were able to make it right and my daughter is in love with her big girl bed.**

The picture of the torn furniture says it all. Whoever designed this padded coffee table should be fired. The naugahyde or vinyl is paper thin! It wore out after just a few months, and we never even put our shoes on it. I'm reminded of Emerald's low quality every time I walk by it.

Worst customer service and professionalism. Very Poor quality of the furniture. Them frame was not balanced. They did not obliged to the warranty terms which is on their website. I got Belham living Sofa and sectional via hayneedle. There was a Isuue with the lounge piece of the sectional. They voided the warranty on the whole order including sofa and rest of the sectional but I only received partial credit of $ 200 on lounge piece of the sectional.

I purchased a sofa made by this co. It had a fabric warranty. Within first three months the fabric was torn on the sofa seating area "&" the arm. When I called, I explained my concern & the man told me No problem, send photos and we will do what we can to take care of your defective sofa. I sent pictures & called several times before hearing back via email stating my photos (taken from my iPhone with the highest quality for photos) were blurred , then going on to state the splitting material looks as if it was "sliced" How was this determined if photos were blurry? I sent more photos and again, no response. Made several calls also. What a coincidence Sliced in two separate areas on a sofa that is barely used in our basement?!! I will attach the managers response. Why offer a warranty when you make excuses for defective material. Would never purchase from this company. NEVER!! Poor quality, Poor management response! I am happy to respond to anyone reading this review, Happy to send you photos of sofa & management response & copy of call list... number of times I tried to contact management to respond to my DEFECTIVE SOFA!!

Initially, we were quite happy with our mattresses purchased at a retailer in the Portland area. After a few months, we noticed a large black stain on the underside of the mattress. We called the company and they replaced the mattress as per our 10 year warranty. Now, after 7 years, we have the same black discoloration on the underside of the mattress again, only this time, the company tells us it is not under warranty as it is not a defect. How can they tell that without sending someone to look at it? They can't tell me that it isn't toxic, only that it's not covered as part of our warranty - - it was covered before. If they don't intend to warranty the mattress for ten years then they shouldn't fool customers into thinking it might be warranted for ten years.

It seems like a lot of folks are running into warranty problems with this manufacturer - - BUYER BEWARE

Beautiful details! I love my chair. Wish they'd sell directly to me. They were way friendlier and responsive than the store I bought from.
