Fibers Etc is a treasure trove and a candy store for knitters and yarn lovers. This fabulous shop is huge, with an amazing and gorgeous variety of yarns, threads, and fibers. It offers a wide selection of brands, fibers, and weights, including some rare, imported, and discontinued skeins. There is also a very impressive collection of buttons. The staff are lovely, super helpful, knowledgeable, kind, and very accommodating. They provide a pleasant shopping experience, taking time to help customers find what they need, from beginner yarns to extra fine threads for antique patterns. They offer great advice on projects and are happy to help with calculations, color choices, and even lessons on using tools like the free yarn ball spinner. The instructors of the workshops are also very knowledgeable and helpful. Many customers, including those visiting from out of town, call it the best yarn store and place it on their "must visit" list for Tacoma, planning to return for all their fiber needs.
