I recently purchased a new TL12, Fecon Bullhog mulching head and a bucket from Nick Lamb at FMI in Tacoma. Nick was awesome to work with. He was super helpful and most importantly to me he wasn’t pushy. They were able to get the Fecon head in quickly and tuned it to my machine. It was delivered to Port Angeles by Nick and Rick, with Rick being perhaps the nicest human being I’ve ever met. A really awesome thing that happened was the price of the TL12 had gone down from the time they provided me with a quote, they brought this up and lowered the price without me asking. We recently purchased a new morbark 1415 chipper, nick was our sales person and has been great. We got a great deal and the service has been fantastic. Ana, from the Monroe location has been very helpful in demoing equipment, answering questions and recently picked up our chipper took it to Tacoma for the 50 hour service and returned it the same day. Great customer service! Thank you to everyone at FMI.

I’m a home owner and only purchase a new mower 1 time every 6-7 years but Anna is fantastic! She said to save her number and reach out whenever I had a question .
Well in the last 3 months I’ve had 3 questions and she gets to me right away as if I was a new customer she was trying to win over.
It’s pretty awesome that she cares about her customers era and the company.

We Purchased a TB 290 excavator and a TL-12 skid steer. The excavator went flawless they had it in stock and delivered it quickly. The excavator has been a great asset to our company the crews love how stout it is for its size. The TL-12 had to be ordered from Japan and had a longer lead time. Even though it was a long lead time, Anna our sales woman made sure they kept the original price and got us exactly what we wanted. The TL-12 has also been a great asset and is a monster for moving materials and dirt. Our operator bent a fork on the TL-12 moving a dumpster ”dumpsters are fork killers with the wrong operator”. Anna was on it and she got a replacement ASAP for a great price. There had been a few wrinkles in the time of dealing with FMI “not all FMI fault” but Anna was always there communicating with us and working thru the problems. You can expect for us to be a long time FMI customer. It’s not if there is going to be problems but it’s how you handle them. Anna with some help from Joe have had us taken care of.

I’ve spent hundreds of thousands at FMI. The support was generally good, the maintenance shop was awesome and worked through finding parts with missing numbers, etc. I bought a stump grinder chainsaw attachment ( predator 880 $5,000 ) and it broke on the first job. After dropping it off, I had to call constantly and after months of waiting they asked me if I wanted a quote to fix it. All I wanted was them to stand behind their product a least a little bit. Been months since I said I was extremely disappointed with this and was “waiting for a reply from upper management”. I will be going back to Vermeer for all my needs, a little more expensive, but they stand behind what they sell a lot more.

Very unhelpful at the service department for a trouble code diagnoses. Claimed that they couldn’t use their computer system to troubleshoot because I had deleted the emissions off the machine. Which they initially said wouldn’t be a problem, over the phone. Didn’t seem like they had any interest or ability to actually figure it out. Told me there “wasn’t really anything else to try”. Unfortunately this is the closest dealer to me.

I think they are competent but make sure you get a bid. I dropped my little bandit 75 off for fluids and filters and a check over and somehow the bill was 2100. Mysterious hours added on and phantom charges for work that was not done. I gave Skyler a chance to resubmit a bill that looked legit but he declined.

Purchased a $140k lift, had them replace the wiring harness a little over a year ago which took months. The wiring harness went out again, I asked them to order the part and install it when I dropped it off. They charged me $4k for “diagnosing” and said it was good to pick up. Machine was in worse condition when I picked it up with nothing fixed. So I brought it back, it’s been 4 months of shinanagins and I still don’t have a machine. Loosing money and customers because the machine is sometimes the only safe way to do the job. Do yourself a favor if you are in the market, buy from somewhere that will take care of you. Been dealing with other outfits for years and never have I experienced this kind of treatment.
