Love this location. Staff are friendly and helpful. The car was available and ready when I arrived. I was already on my way when I received a text message to offer assistance. I plan to use this location again when I come back to Tacoma. Thanks.

The staffs were very friendly and helpful. They provided me with the best customer service, last minute changes but they were able to help. Thank you Jen & your colleague!

Do not come here, unless you have booked more than 24 hours in advance and have called to confirm that they ACTUALLY have a car on the lot (very tiny location in bad part of town). Even if it says online you are reserved for a car they may not have one for you. This happened to me today after Ubering down. Basically consider them unreliable and be skeptical and that will serve you well in dealing with them.

I rented a vehicle for about 5 days, the staff were friendly, customer service oriented, I would definitely do business with this company especially if Jen and Ingrid are working ..

Rented a truck for a trip to the east side of the state and loved the experience. Here's the thing about the other reviews; did you check your attitude? I doubt all these customers were polite or nice. We also stopped and used $2 to vacuum out the truck before taking it back so we didn't end up with any fees. It takes $2 and a few minutes to be courteous and accountable. These bad reviews are lazy. I found everybody pleasant and easy to work with. Will rent again here for sure!

Charged me $150 because there was some pine needles on the floor and some cookie crumbs from my children on the seats. Cleaning fee is a scam and likely goes again Hertz's corporate policy.
Update: the cleaning fee is a scam. The corporate cleaning policy accounts for normal wear and tear like this. I was refunded the cleaning fee after submitting a BBB complaint.

Wish there was negative numbers
Went in yesterday, asked for a car. We were told to reserve it and that we had to wait 24 hours for the car. They said not to come back until 3 p.m. We gave them our credit and contact information.
We came in today , the car is gone. No phone call, no notice. And they basically laughed in my face. Didn't care at all.
The worst service ever.
Don't trust them

I regret not reading all these horrible reviews before I booked a reservation here. This place is. A JOKE. Do yourself a favor and don't rent a car here. Otherwise, you might not be able to pick up the car after you have already made a reservation and spend $150 on uber back after arguing with the condescending manager for more than an hour. I rent cars pretty much every weekend for the past five years and never had this kind of horrible experience before. and from Hertz? Did not expect this from Hertz at all - one of the biggest rental car company in U.S. The service here was lower than any ground level cheap rental place. No wonder this place is a joke because the one I spoke to was the MANAGER of this place - JENNIFER. I wonder if the manager there got any education at all because her attitude, language, and procedure didn't reflect any. She didn't let me pick up the car because I didn't have my physical passport with me per their protocol - which took her an hour to locate as she herself couldn't find the policy on the website or anywhere - she had to call her supervisor CHERYL to send her the policy. However, their printed protocol/policy also stated that the managers can approve the rentals who are not in possession of a passport. After I pointed that out, she had to call her manager again and still refused to rent me a car because she was unsure where that came from and she has never seen it. (This is the protocol she just printed me we're talking about) She said she was trained otherwise. Is that my problem that she was trained incorrectly? or not aligning to the policy? She expects me to read all these policies prior to reservation when she herself has not before? and is her condescending manner also from bad Hertz training?
For the manager who was training a new hire at the same time, you never scoff at your customer. She was scoffing at me the whole time with the policy she couldn't even locate or explain. Then the trainee next to her suggested me to uber instead as a great alternative. Pure joke. but how can I blame him when his manager is JENNIFER, and how can I blame JENNIFER when her supervisor is CHERYL? Complete waste of time - 2 hours to get there and 1 hour of argument.. Ill be surprised if she keeps her job there for any longer because that would mean there is no such a thing as management there.

If you want to spend your money on a taxi home, then you can safely contact this company! I booked a car for 4 days using the app, but it doesn't mean anything to the company's office! When I came to the office, it turned out that I had to make them a $200 deposit, which I did not know about, since nothing was specified about this deposit! Thus, I was left without a car and with the booking of this car in the application of this desk, upon cancellation of which the commission for this cancellation will be charged from my card, thank you very much! I will never apply again!
