I was told by a sales associate that the return policy was 30 days but not to worry they will always offer an exchange. Not true! I purchased pants 40 days ago for a trip to Europe. After packing I realized that I really did not need the pants so I went to return/exchange (all tags in tack) and they refused and said this year (2025) they are sticking to the policy very strictly. That’s fine but then your sales associates should be equally informed. So now I am stuck with pants I do not need or want and was very willing to exchange for grandkids clothing and I probably would have spent more than the pants were worth ($29.99). H & M has now lost any future business.

yesterday I bought a discounted item, no one told me that the item was non-refundable, even though it was obvious that it was men's clothing. The size didn't fit and they refused to return it. I called the administrator, he said the same thing. Now I can't return an item that's not cheaper. That's how the store tries to make money on items it didn't sell, simply leaving no choice

Yesterday, 18th April 2025 in the evening, I went to fit in my clothes in the fitting room and the room I was directed to was Stinking! I don’t know what was going on with whoever was there before me. The fitting room was dirty with some trash too. I asked the lady that was working there if I can use another room and she looked at me with an attitude and said “ Thats the only one we have for now” .There was two other rooms open but didn’t wanna ask her anymore questions with that attitude she had, so I just walked away. Talked to the cashier when checking out but all he could say was ‘am sorry about that’

Karina with a K was a horrible individual. I was so close to losing my cool, but for obvious reasons I can’t. But I was there twice over the last two days and I spent my childhood roaming these hallowed halls (when the Bon Marche was here), so I couldn’t let the incredible work of literally every other employee and the manager go unnoticed. Though Karina said “may you have the holiday you deserve,” and I was briefly tempted to correct her error, the manager and the other regular staff helped me, my sister, my brother yesterday. I’ll call corporate separately about Karina, and speak to her about unprofessionalism, but this store is full of staff that cares, and that deserves to be celebrated, especially during the holiday season. Super props to the manager. As most people, I’ve shopped at H&M for years, and to grab gifts and fast fashion finds, but knowledgeable, kind staff take the experience to the highest level. Again, Karina was horrible, but literally every other team member was kind, informative and intelligent. Kudos to the management team

Adrian displayed wonderful customer service towards me today. He gave his opinion on the shirts I picked out for the groomsmen in my wedding and was very helpful when I asked. He made me aware of the H and M awards program that I didn’t know about prior and was such a pleasure to check out with. He’s amazing! Thank you Adrian!

The music is extremely loud here! I asked one of the associates if she could turn it down and she responded saying they cannot and that the level it was on is their standard level. She even agreed its excessive. I couldn't finish my phone conversation because it was just blaring. If you have sensitive hearing you're gonna have to make a quick trip because it is very annoying.
