I was just inside this store at the mall, and I have never heard a manager talking/training an employee on how talking to customers is a "mind game or whatever you want to call it" and saying that "playing on peoples emotions and and really nerding out with them makes them want to buy more" and when they "hold more items they are less likely to put them back".As a customer that came off very manipulative and rude. I get that that is a strategy for selling and that is his job, but there is a more inclusive way to say these things and not right in the middle of the store.

Whoever closed tonight was unbelievably rude. We walked in and were immediately told not to mess up there shirts and after that we were told to leave because they were closed. I’ve never been to a place that had zero customer service skills like I understand they wanted to leave but a simply hey sorry we’re closed when we walked in would’ve been nice and appreciated instead of their rudeness. Never going back to this one again it was unacceptable do better with the people you hire!
