I have used H&R Block as my tax professionals for the past 20 years. H&R Block has completed my taxes and kept me out of tax disputes with the IRS. That has saved me a lot of time and trouble over the past 20 years and has made my hiring of H&R Block worth it.

So done with turbo(terrible)tax after 11 years. Last & this year their guidelines were very confusing and for the cost of using a live person with them wasn't worth it. That's why we went to H&R, cost a bit higher, but face to face beats online and you get help right then and there. Found our tax place.

I filed my taxes with a 'tax pro' virtually through H&R block this year. Online, it said it would cost $89 however my bill was for almost $300. They charge per form that you upload, which was not clear to me prior to receiving the bill. Then, once I paid $300 for the taxes, the website would not let me approve and submit my return. I called customer service and they told me this is a 'known bug'. Why are you charging me $300 to use a website with a 'known bug'? Anyways it took like 2 weeks to get it all sorted and filed which was way longer and more annoying than I expected. Especially for $300. I will not be using H&R block again for my taxes or anything else.I will note that Sunny, the tax pro I worked with, was very helpful and informative. They helped me reduce the price of my return and took the time to explain and work through some complications with my taxes.

After 14 years of using Turbo Tax they refused to call me when I needed help with my 2022 taxes that were rejected by the IRS more than once!!!My neighbor recommended H&R Block. Their tax professional was fantastic. I am through with Turbo Tax and diffidently will be using H&R Block in the future...
