I visited the Westgate LabCorp in Tacoma, WA today for a blood draw to cover five or six different important tests. The lab technician, Lindsay, was the most skilled person I've ever had to draw blood.I was in a lot of pain due to a couple issues with neuropathy in my back and legs, that I didn't mention. I began to engage her in answering ordinary questions to take my mind off myself. She had a very calming voice, pleasant attitude, plus, the easy manner of an experienced professional.While Linda was obviously very efficient in handling the numerous processing details from documentation to finally bandaging my arm, she never gave me the slightest feeling of feeling rushed to get to the next patients.She was so efficient in her care for me, that we were finished quickly. It was the most pleasant and painless blood I've had. And Linda was as lovely and caring as her name means!Normally, I would not write so much, yet it had been a tough medical day for me, with extreme painful set of x-rays, so spending the last med visit of that day, with such a kind and gentle person (for the often painful blood draw) was a truly special and relaxing l gift!!! Thank You, Linda!!

The care I received here today was kind, gentle, and professional. As well as timely. Linda was very patient and open to answering questions. I appreciate her beyond words, as having blood drawn is not easy for me. She made it comfortable for me, and was able to draw successfully. Thank you Linda!

My husband and I went there this morning. We were the only ones in the office, so got our blood work drawn right away. The lady (sorry I didn't ask her name) was pleasant and gentle.

Do NOT go here. They don’t notify you when your sample doesn’t go through, so my partner had to waste his time going in there twice - both failed samples because their staff is highly incompetent. Please save your time and go somewhere else.

They were unable to give me results on 2 samples I dropped off. Terrible communication/ directions and upper management. Literally like pushing a rope at the most basic level. DO NOT GO HERE.

The young lady working today was extremely friendly but professional. Could have sat and visited and made a knew friend. What's even better, totally pain free. I've had alot of jabs over the past few years and this was absolutely one of the best. Overall pleasant experience.

It was a quick in and out experience, Francis was very nice and kind during the whole visit and explained how they also drew blood as well. I would highly recommend this location for blood work as it took less time then I thought and didn’t impact my plans for the day.

Wow extremely rude customer service. I came, checked in, waited for 10 min, then I was told I need to pay upfront and the lady was not willing to wait 10min for me to bring my HSA card. Another customer came in and she yelled at her for being late. Would avoid this location.

The last time I visited this location was back in 2019, and the nurse on staff at the time was nice and professional. The blood draw was painless, and the nurse at the time was very kind and courteous. Today (3/24/2022) I visited the clinic and noticed the location changed. I found the new location without any problems and I was greeted by Francis.I have to admit I was in a very foul mood, and I had been fasting all day when I stopped by around 2:30pm. I needed to draw some blood for labs, and I signed in as instructed.My insurance information was not up to date, and Francis spotted the error right away and had me provide the correct details for billing. I was not expecting to pay several hundred dollars this visit, and Francis explained my billing breakdown in such a kind, and professional way, I was okay with paying the surprise bill.Francis was also nice enough to offer me the choice of what arm to use to draw blood. The needle for the blood draw was painless. I have to say that I appreciate the staff at this location the last two visits. Francis was very thorough, kind, and patient with me despite my terrible mood.

Has anyone ever called the westgate location recently? Is it just me or is the chick on the phone very rude, unpleasant to speak to and not at all helpful. She's got this tone that makes ppl feel d*** for asking questions. She even tried telling me that i was wrong she's never heard of the j st location for labcorp down town. She calls it the hospital location. Lol the hospital is located on J st. She then told me they don't do paternity tests on the pearl st location. I live a few blocks away on pearl and don't drive so getting a ride tomorrow to the j st location is hatd. I had a appointment two weeks ago and I got there (J st) at 5:02pm. I was in tears n pleaded with the front desk lady but she refused to do a two minute mouth swab. So i rushed down there for nothing. I'm just trying to get a, paternity test so i can give to child support and finally get some financial help from my son's father. He left me with nothing. This whole thing has been stressful the last thing I need is a attitude from the front desk chick or having to go 20 mins away to get a test I could take 2 minutes away.
