REALLY DISAPPOINTED with this Loves Stop. We utilize them for gas, showers, propane, and to rest during our cross country trip. We LOVE Loves, but RVers are NOT welcome at this location, so beware on your trip if you’re headed North on the I-5 in an RV. They have a large amount of their car parking area blocked off, for what? No idea. I tried talking to the manager Tony and was dismissed. Didn’t even try to come up with a solution (like moving the cones you have that block off 25+ parking spots). Literally told no, sorry. Go to the overcrowded rest stop 3 miles away that has construction going on. Loves has always provided us with excellent service until today, Thanks Tony!

When first getting there on the morning of the 20th,we were waiting for a space to open up in the packed parking lot for all of 5-10 minutes before a joke of a security guard with spikey light hair, looking to be anywhere between his mid 40s-50s came out and flashed his flashlight on and off in our face through the windshield, which we then witnessed him doing the same to other drivers later in the day. I believe this is the same man that Terry Hood has pictured below. We are a mixed family, so I'm not sure if that's part of why he behaved that way.
We found a spot across the road from the main parking lot shortly after and were able to get coffee and showers. I had no problem with customer service, the towels were clean and smelled fresh, it was generally clean...etc
The following morning, I tried getting a diet Coke and both machines had nothing, but bubbly water coming out. As a diabetic, it's also great when loves has sugar free syrup options for coffee, which unfortunately this loves didn't have, along with any other flavored syrups that they had the previous day/morning.
We saw 3 other security guards during the time we were there, none of which were obnoxious or rude like the guy I mentioned previously.
Overall seems a bit understaffed and like there's a struggle to keep the coffee/drink station properly stocked, especially in the morning.

They coffee was excellent!! Good breakfast sandwiches. I recommend the chicken burrito or the waffle sandwich. 9/10 🌯 🧇

Just don’t understand why such a good truck stop has only 2.9 star. Definitely 5 star. Clean restroom, clean shower, friendly staff. They have an extra parking lot on other side of the road!

I have just completed another cross country trip between Washington and Missouri and back again with my service dog. I cannot tell you how much both my dog and I appreciate the clean dog parks that are available at most locations, the friendly staff, the clean restrooms, and areas to park and nap as needed. I also greatly appreciate the loves app and the ability to get discount discounts on fuel prices. I actively seek out this truck stop each time I travel! They do a great job!

I just wanted to express my sincere gratitude for the cleanliness and wonderful kind attitude of all the people working at Love's Truckstop in Tacoma WA on Port of Tacoma Road(I-5 exit 136)!
Kali did an amazing job making sure everything was clean each time we were there especially the ladies restroom...THANK YOU!! When you're traveling long distance and want a friendly clean place to stop at, please choose the Love's Truckstop in Tacoma.

So I stopped to loves to take a break, security guard showed up after an hour knocked hard on the window I was talking a nap I had a long drive and I was figuring out if where could be a nice hotel, so I took a nap,
Security( Male Africanamerican)say I had to leave the hour limit has reached,
Defenertly not courtesy for me as a customer of about 10 years, why the disrespect, anyways.i went inside to ask for the Manager (Fimale African )on duty today 6-21-24 around 7pm I asked if there was a way to pay for a parking I am driving my XL SUBURBAN no trailer she said only vehicles with DOT number are allowed I went to see if the vehicle had a US DOT on the door and 80% of the vehicles had no USDOT i gave this information to the manager (fimale African American)and she said no over night parking allowed for me .
I have my own business and I drive from Los Angeles to Seattle due to my business and she said no parking allowed.I JUST WANT TO POST TO LET THOSE THAT LIKE TO BE TREATED FAIRLY AND EQUALLY KNOW THIS PLACE IS A BIT COLD.? .

I tell you what this love doesn't show love it's full of hate... half of the employees treat you like your back in high school, and they are your teachers like wth...I'm paying customer bought food thier took shower twice in thier unclean environment since we didn't have any other choice due to 18 wheeler, fruit flies were all in the paid shower room I mean come on atleast keep the shower room hygienic since it's paid for..and as for employees if you don't know how to treat customers then find a different job the suits you ain't nobody forcing yall to work here. And as for Love's management team, yall need to come check out this truck stop it definitely needs better managers' skills here.This is not it!!
