Macy's does not back up its products. We purchased a suitcase. On its first use it broke. Macy's refused to refund or replace it. In addition the store has soiled carpets cracked floor tiles and an all around over the hill appearance. I had been a Macy's customer for over 60 years. We now destroyed our Macy's card. We tried to return this just three weeks after we purchased it. True customer non-service.

I was so impressed by a young lady that corporate ought to promote her to teach how to manage people and clients at all levels with dignity and respect. Never missing a beat, she worked tirelessly to provide excellent customer service to everyone. Ms, Shanice Green in Woman's Shoes in the Tacoma Macy's is a true treasure. Everyone that gets a chance to know this young lady will be a stronger person in themselves and know their own truth. I wish her the best this life has to offer and would strongly suggest that Macy's take a look at the talent they have in their ranks. I look forward to coming back. I hope in the future Macy's get's more inventory in general.

What has happened to this store?! In the past I could walk in and find anything because it was well laid out. Went in yesterday and I was met with a bunch of banners hanging from the ceiling, disorganized and cluttered areas and just looking like a 3rd rate department store (I.e. target, Walmart etc.). Definitely will not be going back here again!

went to macy's to buy two bras. they would have totaled $140 dollars. there was no on to help. i finally called the store operator on my phone. she said they were short staffed but would send someone in 15 minutes.when no one came i finally left after an hour. i am not sure why they are open for business.

Skip, the guy that works in the shoe department, opened up a new account for me without my approval. I didn't have my Macy's card so he said he would look it up with my SSN. That's when he opened the account. I had autopay on my original account but when I had them close my second account, it messed up my auto pay. So now I have late fees and interest fees. I called the store manager but was told she would call me back. Never did. Done with Macy's!!

I haven't been to Macy's in forever but thought I would give it a try and buy some cologne for Father's Day. The ladies at the fragrance department seemed like they didn't want to be bothered. I said I was looking for a cologne and they seemed to want me to buy the first cologne I sampled. One lady was busy texting on her phone. They might need to have more training in their customer service

After a terrible customer service at the Vans shoe store at the Tacoma mall, I went to the shoe department at Macy's. As soon as I walked in the employee "Bobby" said "Hi. Is there anything that I can help you find?" That simple act was all that was need to earn my business. Thanks to Bobby, I have some new shoes and restored faith that customer service is not a dying practice.

Zero stars is what this review should be getting for the cosmetics perfume counter women working here 9/25/21 3pm. They were 100% useless, didn't offer to help me at all. I purposely walked past them twice seeing if they would offer to help me, nope, not even a hello. I stood at the Chanel counter waiting and they Just looked at me and continued talking together! Made me uncomfortable and they just lost me as a perfume sale from Macy's for life. Astonishing customer service! Not the way to astonish your customers! Train these women Macys on how to acknowledge all customers and not just make eye contact and do nothing. So, I went to Nordstrom and spent $300 on what I went to Macy's for. Walking back through Macy's to get to my car, I was acknowledged by a woman who was with a new group of trainees and each one of them said hello to me! The trainer needs to get these women trained who are out on the floor! They are awful! Yes, I'm mad because in my 30 years of shopping have I ever been treated like this at Macy's. Disgusted! Macy's isn't what it used to be!

This store is a nightmare. I left with out my purchase because of the Loooooong period of time I had to spend waiting to check out. 20 minutes. While I was there a woman came in and cut the sensors on 2 expensive bags and ran out the door. No one did anything to stop her. Unbelievable. Meanwhile I am trying to pay for my purchase and was no able to do it because the gal at the counter was not able to reach the manager to ask how to do something. I had purchased some frango's while I was waiting. I was so frazzled that I left the store without them. I tried to call the store back to get a refund. After 25 minutes trying to reach multiple different departments with no answer in any of them. I gave up. Keep my purchase, Keep my frango's and Keep your shoplifters that check out much faster that I did. To think this used to be my favorite store. It is now, my most hated store. Really to bad.

I Love my Macy's so much the shoe Department was amazing found what I wanted and even shipped my orders thing I get for my kids and 15 Grandkids most people don't even know that when they have there baby clothes on sale it cheaper then Walmart and Target stop I love my Macy's

Today I experience the north face women's jacket area and the perfume counter as always the perfume counter is a lovely place to go except for it's similar to a car salesman shop they want you to pre-sale and get a goodie basket they want you to I am buy a bundle and not a bottle not always do you get a deal but I understand they're working and selling off of commission and numbers and items per transaction parking is easy for this location the woman at the jacket section she was easy-going no hard pressure but I was relaxed and dress down that day so she probably thought I was going to steal something or buy nothing LOL but let's keep it real. I'd suggest holding your grounds and having good boundaries when you go to the perfume counter don't open an account don't get talked into things you're really not sure of besides that it's a decent place to go I usually go to Nordstrom's but they didn't have what I want and I found it today here.

Macy's has gone way down hill. Good luck finding any associate to ring you up- let alone help you. This is why retail is failing. I'd rather just be at home on my computer and shop. Customer service is a thing of the past.

Bought a bed at Macy's furniture in January and was told the bed would be delivered on Feb 4th. Called on the 4th and they said it would take 2 weeks to process in the warehouse and then be delivered. After 2 weeks I received an email saying their was a problem with the order and it won't be available until June. The store didn't help with anything and said they can't promise it will even arrive in June. They offered me a 10% discount on a completely different bed. Horrible customer service on the phone and terrible service in store. With amazon's amazing customer service they will be out of business soon I'm guessing!

Purchased an item online and tried to return it in store. Was discriminated against and told I could not return my item after being looked up and down by the employee assisting me named "Cherie." Had to call to get her name because she would not assist me. Even with my reciept they refused to refund because I did not have my ID with me. Why do I need ID when I have proof of purchase? Last time I will be shopping here.
