Start-up was amazing! Something different, something new. Prices are pretty steep, but I understand the concept. However, if the price is that high, expectations are even higher!!! And unfortunately, they do not fully deliver. There are trainers who are more enthusiastic than others, more attentive than others. -That’s vital if that’s what others signed up for.My main frustration is the communication at the frontlines. I like to provide people with the benefit of the doubt…but if the same issues persists? We’re beyond that! I was told 3 times that a manager would return my call about some charges that were made on my card…which by the way was mistakenly made. And if I had not been aware of it….it surely would have gone unnoticed-that’s a vulnerable feeling! The manager NEVER made any appearance or even felt the need to call. I was finally refunded the amount that was not authorized to begin with, and no one bothered to call to let me know or even apologized for the inconvenience. This left a bad taste in my mouth and I have NO desire to go back. But I’m already charged another month so imma go ?. Also asked them to put the monitor on a payment plan, and I got charged the whole amount. ?♀️ still no response and no solution! Really guys?

Great coaches! Good, well planned workout. Flexibility built in to push only as much as is desired on any given day. Very supportive and no pressure. First gym experience that I have ever enjoyed.

So they do say the hardest step is just showing up, honestly a totally different gym type experience. I leave the place always with a feeling of achievement, but then sore the next day...Uggh exercise there is work involved. The coaches are great, the sales team at the front desk greet people by name and honestly is one of my favorite features. The people who go are all really into it, so as a newbie I just watch in awe and just try and keep up. You pay a lot for a workout especially when half of it is just on a treadmill, but when you got a coach saying "burn that tank down, go all out" it is a nice extra push. You get a real workout and it comes with reports and data, so you get to see progress over time.Recommend this - be warned it's a little addictive so expect that no matter what plan you buy they are gonna get you on the higher tiers eventually - but I like them.

I really enjoyed Orange Theory in Tacoma. Everyone was always welcoming and accepting. I saw all types of people and different levels of abilities and age. No one made another feel unwelcome. I have pretty significant social anxiety and while it wasn’t always easy to go because of it, the environment made it easier to overcome. I only wish there was an OT near my home in Graham. Since changing jobs I have no reason to go to downtown Tacoma so I had to say goodbye. But let me tell you, I felt amazing while being there!

Fun group workout atmosphere. Pumping music. No doubt, a well-designed and thought-out workout, with heart rate monitor and real-time feedback for how you are performing. But let's get real here, this is expensive stuff...especially when you realize you can down-load a high intensity play list from Spotify, alternate fast slow running in the park, and dumbell weight lifting in your home for a fraction of the cost...but that definitely requires a lot of self motivation doesn't it??

I was having low motivation in working out. The front desk staff were informative and help set realistic goals . The instructors set a workout for the day that helps you work out as intense or as moderate pace to achieve a great energy burn

I love going to Orangetheory Tacoma. Orangetheory is the first fitness class I’ve loved going to and have stuck with. I’ve been a member for around 4 years and have seen such great improvements in my strength and endurance. I love that the classes are so personalized. You can go as fast or slow as you want, and lift as heavy or light as you are feeling up to that day. I also love the benchmark templates to see your progress over time. Overall, highly recommend! New people can try out a free class to check it out!

The staff and coaches are amazing, the workouts are especially great if you’re competitive (even with yourself), and it’s nice to burn 500+ calories in an hour! It’s a great location and just everyone is so inclusive and inviting.

OTF Tacoma is a great place to get and stay in shape. It’s the right balance of cardio and weights + group fitness with individual attention when needed. I am happy to admit it: I’m a super fan of OTF Tacoma fitness studio!
