Loved this beautiful, historic theater. I went to see Alice In Chains. We had great seats but... they gave our seats to someone else and didn't have enough chairs. It isn't very wheelchair accessible. The sound and intimate vibes made it worth it.

Great staff, beautiful venue, incredible performances. There was a quite a bit of congestion before and after the show and those with limited mobility seemed a bit concerned with the traffic. Getting up and down from seats was a little tricky for the mezzanine seating but I am sure there are more accessible seatting options.

Tacoma Youth Symphony.Excellent acoustics. Comfortable seating, although a little close to the next row.
The historic Pantages Theater opened in January 1918, as one in a string of vaudeville theaters across the country owned by Alexander Pantages. Designed by architect Marcus Priteca after an ornate theater in the Palace of Versailles, and financed in part by Alexander's partner Kate Rockwell, the theater has undergone several name changes and owners throughout the years. The venue has been recently restored to its former grandeur, and reopened in November 2018. The venue was managed by Tacoma Arts Live until 2021. Today it is owned by the citizens of Tacoma and managed by ASM Global on behalf of the City of Tacoma.
