The pharmacy never opens on time. It's ridiculous. It wouldn't it be nice to come whenever you like...jeez. what is so hard coming at 9am. I have to be at work at 5am every morning and these employees at safeway pharmacy can't even manage to do that.

Very slow. Not enough employees, there's always a problem with the people in line in front of me. They should have a 2nd register so they can help the next in line.

I have no personal beef with this pharmacy but need to point a few things out. After getting my annual shots, I realized when I got home that someone else's script printout including their DOB and other personal details was bundled into my own paperwork from this pharmacy. Mistakes happen but that's a serious HIPAA violation. I shredded the paperwork. Also, whenever I am here, there's an unruly cluster of customers congregated around the pharmacy window from all directions w/ carts etc and no clear line. So you can't get in line and wait your turn because people are crowding in from all directions with no sense of who is next, and blocking all the surrounding aisles. Would be helpful if pharmacy staff rounded up this cluster in a more organized format, there's also no privacy when you get to the window, people don't stand back, everyone can hear your details discussed with pharmacist. Please do something to ensure better privacy and order at the pharmacy windows.

For some reason the can’t show up on time. Almost 90 minutes after opening and still no one here. Wish I could come in when I feel like it. This is not the first time… or second.

Whoever hired the younger girl with black hair in a ponytail is rude. What happened to customer service. Not even a hello or thank you. “Birthday!?” Like if you don’t like your job, go elsewhere and do something you enjoy.

This Safeway is staffed by racist degens. From my partner being followed by staff throughout the store to having security want to look through their meds to make sure they weren't stealing anything (holy hippa violation) to them trying to blacklist them when they transferred back to their old pharmacy to avoid this store completely. They just wanted to pick up their meds and pick up some food for the weekend. This store never bothered me but I pass as European so their motives are very suspicious to me. Sheesh what a hassle lol

Horrible they dont fill anything off their online you have to bug your doctor to bug them… 2x now they have taken over 2 weeks for standard refills and no calls no anything about why they keep waiting to fill everything even with refills until my doctor has to be called by me… Absolutely ridiculous and the worst pharmacy ive ever dealt with….i will wait until they fill my meds and then call them and tell them to put them back on the shelf and I’ll get a real pharmacy to fill them…They shouldn’t even be allowed to have a pharmacy at this location and i will be calling the district office about how AWFUL this place is!!!!

I don't need to call they send me a text when my meds are ready to pick up every three months. Alot better than Rite aid on Pacific and 72nd in Tacoma

this rating is primarily for the pharmacy and the rude pharmacy tech who doesnt know how to speak to nor listen to customers. i meant to leave this review months ago but i had better things to do. here is some advice based off of my interaction with a tech on the phone:: before you start giving incorrect information about patient scripts, make sure you actually understand what the patient is asking as opposed to just assuming and firing off WRONG information while overtalking the patient.i transferred my scripts to cvs.this store in general is not somewhere i prefer to shop. i saw a homeless man openly stuffing items in his pockets and walking off, a man stalked me thru every aisle one late night and waited for me in the parking lot to ask “if i had a man” literally pulling up behind my vehicle while i was loading my groceries, people stand outside asking you for money and the lines are seemingly excruciatingly long at certain times. not worth it. i drive a few mins further now to shop at the metropolitan.

The restrooms are absolutely disgusting. Graffitti everywhere. When I was there, there were jeans on the floor next to the toilet, the toilet had toilet paper and pee, paper towels everywhere. I wished I hadn’t gone in there. I didn’t even want to wash my hands. I was in shock. Horrified. I had No idea Safeway allowed these standards to play out in any of their stores. I usually shop at Gig Harbor Safeway and it’s beautiful

This place doesn't even deserve 1 star but there is at least one worker who is polite. I felt judged and discriminated against for my type of medication. They withheld them for 3days when they should not have. My doctor took care of the situation but I won't be going to this pharmacy again as soon as I can transfer over to Fred Meyers. I called in for refills at 10am. I called back for a pickup time around 12pm because they didn't give me one and was told it would be 45min. At 1:20, I got confirmation that one of them were ready so I headed over there. When I went back the lady said the one was ready and went to grab my medication from the back. I said there should be 2 and the pharmacist called her over, talked and then she told me I couldn't pick them up for 3 more days. I've never had this happen anywhere else and I'm certain it's because of my type of medication and the area it's located it that I was stereotyped.
