I had such a wonderful welcome and experience setting up my business account with Sound Community Bank. I will be happy here, I believe it. The Branch Manager (Maria) even gave me a piggy bank to give to my daughter! She's just 9 months, but I guess it no better time to start saving, than now. :) I'm most thankful!

I am so impressed with the customer service at the Tacoma branch. The staff know customers by there first names. I watched as Maria (manager) worked with her young new staff with compassion, patience and keeping them relaxed. This is what a small town bank in a big city feels like. You have this customer for life. Thank you for caring.

they are so good they recognize my voice on the phone ! or I am on caller ID I have been with them since they were the AG credit union 29years ago. wow 29years, nothing in my my strange world lasts that long. have to be treating me right.

Been doing business with them for 15 years always been helpful and taken great care of me. I have accounts with three other banks but only because they don't have branches everywhere I need.

I have my home loan through Sound Community Bank. I have had automatic payments set up for the last 17 years. Recently, SCB's auto pay malfunctioned. Two months of my mortgage payments and a shortage payment sat in my checking account for three months. SCB failed to apply these two payments to my escrow. One month later I find out my credit score took a 100 point hit. I immediately contacted SCB to complain about their screwups and I requested they send at letter to Equifax to fix my credit and to cc me the letter. Their Loss Mitigation Specialist did not respond to my email request, so I called her a week later. She would not take my phone call, but the receptionist spoke to her and said she would send the letter to me on Monday, September 9, 2019. It's been over two weeks now and I still have not received that letter that was promised to me over the phone. I am extremely unhappy with their customer service, of their attempt to blame me for their mistakes, but most of all for damaging my credit score! Go go find a different bank that is professional, competent, and knows what they're doing because Sound Community Bank can no longer be trusted!

Absolutely the best bank- ever. The ladies there know me by name! I don't go in often, I dont have alot in my account, but they still remember who I am! They even notice when I get a hair cut! I don't think these ladies are even capable of providing "HORRIBLE" customer service- as another reviewer commented. That person has to be confused. This is bank is absolutely wonderful. I once had booked the wrong flight and had to request a refund for my purchase... This where most financial institutions then take 3-5 day to make funds available- Not them! Instantly!

HORRIBLE Customer Service! I tried to withdraw cash from my own account. Sound took it upon themselves to mark the transaction as fraud, then held my money hostage (over $500 in account) and refused to issue a new debit card to me! I used to love this bank but this last year, they've really gone down the toilet. Do not bank with them!
