Took may 2012 Civic in for a software upgrade because the odometer stopped displaying. They offered me a complimentary full inspection (how selfless of them) and found that my transmission seal was bad, sent me a video of it leaking and quoted me around 4K to fix it. I definitely didn't have that so decided to wait. My splash guard had become detached a few months later so I took it to my regular place to see if they could reattach it. While they were down there I also asked them to check if the transmission seal was leaking and how much it would cost to fix. They couldn't reattach the splash guard BUT they also found no leak. Ended up just having S Tacoma Honda reattach the splash guard and (wouldn't you know it) this time they said nothing about a leaking transmission seal. Straight up criminals and crappy ones at that. If you're gonna rip someone off, at least get your story straight/look at what the previous crook had quoted.

Worst dealership we've ever worked with. And we've bought many new cars. After a lot of time invested/ wasted getting to a deal on a new car, we ask what we need to do to secure the vehicle for pick up in three days, and were told we didn't need to do anything and the car would be ready for our Saturday pick up. So we set up a time to pick it up, get our money order from the bank, clean out our trade in, only to get a call two days later saying it was sold! And when we let the sales manger know we weren't happy about getting the rug pulled out from under us, instead of getting a great customer service response like "Sorry! Our bad! Let us help you get your car." We get a "Too bad your salesman didn't tell you that we don't hold cars." That's it! We didn't expect them to hold it and we were ready to do what was needed to secure it, if only their salesman bothered to tell us. So, the morale of this sad story: If you like crappy customer service and dealing with cut throat people who prioritize making money over being transparent and honorable, this is the dealership for you! Good thing there are lots of other dealerships who want to work with their customers and actually value them.

Lorenzo H. was observant, considerate, and very hard working! He knew our time was limited with an infant at hand and worked hard to help us find the vehicle that worked for my household! He helped us find another option when the first one (heated seats) didn't work for us financially. He didn't waste much time to show more suv's or other small sedans after being shown a picture and I declined. He understood what we were and were not there for. Heated seats were my only hope of getting "something I wanted"- I didn't get them, albeit I did get a car in the mile range I was hoping for. My deepest apologies go to the male who was there when we were ready to sign papers as I didn't write down your (his) name! He showed us that indeed we WERE able to get the GAP insurance (I HIGHLY reccomend!) before signing papers!

Joseph Horne was great! Took the time to explain the many features of the car in detail, answered our questions and helped customize the car settings to our preferences. We drove an extra 35 miles so we could deal with South Tacoma Honda. Third car we have bought from them and they deliver on customer service!

Need a new ride Phil Rose is the man. Called about a Chevy Tahoe LT and within minutes he sent me a video of what the interior and exterior looked like. Next day, I was sitting at his desk negotiating a great deal. Great customer service and they definitely support the United States Armed Forces. Absolutely would come back for my next upgrade.

9:00 appointment and less than an hour later I had a new battery and piece of mind. They didn't try to up-sell me or offer a test drive on newer vehicle. I appreciate their honesty and integrity. Received a free car wash to boot. Jon took care of my problem with professional courtesy. Very pleased.

The dealership was an overall great experience. Vibes and employees were helpful and understanding. But our salesman Phil was what set things apart. He was super accommodating and helped my partner and I find the right car for us and did what he could to make it fit within our budget.

You mailed a coupon for $39.95 full synthetic. I scheduled an appointment. You recommended that I get new air and cabin filters, but didn't disclose the price. When you told me that the car was ready, I asked about the filters. You hadn't replaced them. You took 15 minutes to change them and charged me $30.00 labor for each filter. My bill was then $214.79 for the oil change and filters. You can't make any sense out of your invoice. I did talk to the service manager about it too. He also struggled with the invoice. This ended our relationship with South Tacoma Honda. I anticipated a more realistic experience with more transparency and upfront pricing. I got a good old fashioned price gouge.PS. Your bot automatically responded that this was a positive experience. Unbelievable!

This review is for the dealership, not the cars (which are great), or the salesman (Edgar worked hard to get our family's business). I went back an forth on how many stars to put, 3 or 4. I'm putting 3 because I'd say between my negative experience here at the end of 2017 and my husband's ok experience, they are average - not great but not bad. I'm hoping that my candid comments enlighten and encourage the owners and/or managers to have better policies and practices for consumers. This dealership is not for the inexperienced or weak negotiator. Both my husband and I experienced difficulty getting the dealership to honor the online advertised price for vehicles - when I was car shopping, rather than fight for what was advertised and brought me in, I chose to go down the street to Mazda, where the salesman was transparent and negotiated with me in good faith (I drove away in a new car that night). As for my husband, after some back and forth to get them to honor the advertised price, there was still 1 non advertised extra that the manager (not the salesman) refused to drop or swap out, so my husband walked away. Later that night, a different manager authorized swapping wheel locks for floor mats, and my husband went back up and purchased the car. Again, Edgar was professional and worked hard, which is one reason we ended up with a Honda - but we almost went with a different car because of the lack of transparency, that we didn't experience with any other dealership in our car shopping. Obviously, it's possible to walk away with a good car and a good deal from here, but you need to do your research and be strong in your negotiating position to succeed here. We really like the car, it suits our families needs and my husband and I enjoy driving it.

I received a coupon for a $39.95 synthetic oil change. I scheduled the appointment with South Tacoma Honda and arrived 20 minutes early. Coupon said oil change. I was devastated when I got charged $214.79 for 2 filters and the alleged oil change. I am done with South Tacoma Honda! I talked with the service manager and he said everything looked fine. In the past they valued customer feedback. Not anymore. No customer satisfaction survey, not that it matters, I am done driving 50 miles for them to rip me off. What a bunch of crooks!

My 2004 Honda CR-V was vandalized, and the driver's side key lock was damaged. I did not have a fob so I called and spoke with Jeff in the Parts department about getting one made. He quoted me a price which was very fair so I went into the service department the next day. The fob was available, and Jeff put it in right away. The staff exemplified excellent customer service, and I am grateful for it. Thanks, Jeff!

I'm so happy with my new ride!! I was so stressed shopping for a new car since I was rear ended 3 months ago and my vehicle was totaled. Couldn't make up my minde on witch vehicle to purchase. Tina and Lorenzo were amazing since day one. They were so easy to work with and answer all the questions we had. The process on purchasing my vehicle was easy and fast. The color and trim wasn't available at first but Tina quickly ck if there were any inventory on the way and to our surprise there was only one on the way so she handled all the paperwork and made sure that 2024 CR-V Hybrid Touring was going to be mine. I'm Sogreatful with Tina for making this happen. So yesterday I left with my new 2024 CR-V ❤️ We had stressed free and great experience with South Tacoma Honda.Thank you Team!!

Phillip Rose made the experience easy and painless to lease a vehicle. He was very professional. We told him exactly what we were in the market for and knew exactly what to offer us.
