Stargazer Comics is an excellent locally owned comic book store in Tacoma. It offers a great and best selection of Marvel, DC, Indy comics, manga, toys, Transformers, RPGs, and various geek assundry, with a fair amount of back issues. The shop is well-organized with an awesome vibe and atmosphere. The staff is friendly, helpful, very accommodating, and incredibly knowledgeable, always offering great suggestions. They are genuinely pleased to help and create easy, good conversations. Prices are decent and good. This shop is highly recommended for any new or old comic reader or collector and is considered one of the top shops in the Puget Sound area.
Great selection, friendly folks. My kids love looking through their figures and excellent manga selection. Right next to the Exquisite Octopus; nerd heaven.

Wow. First experience at Stargazer and felt like they laid out the red carpet for us. Staff is incredible. The owner, Damian, went above and beyond. Super fun visit. Shopping for our buddy’s bday, and he’s gonna be stoked! 🎉
