Needed a storage unit for nearby college students' stuff for the summer and Tacoma Self Storage was ideal. Derrick was wonderful to work with from the initial phone call to once the unit was cleared out. Easy access, carts available, clean, and well lit. Students stored and removed their items with no issues. Will definitely use again (assuming great review doesn't cause them to sell out) ;-)

Just got a storage unit here and the manager Derrick was nice and helpful. The prices are reasonable and my unit is perfect for my needs. I was dreading getting a storage, unnecessarily so cause I feel at ease at Tacoma Self Storage.

I had a unit here for several months. Place is kept clean and staff are helpful. Access hours until.10pm which is better later than most places.

They accepted the truck. Although he said he wasn't set up yet. He came thru clutch. I was catching a flight no more than 2hrs later.

Very clean, temperature controlled indoor facility. Good lighting, plenty of carts in good condition, close-in parking and excellent security. Restroom in front office only accessible when business office is open. Access gates are a bit narrow - OK for most vehicles except wide vans and trucks. Helpful office staff.

Closes at 7 pm!! If u are working,you only have weekends to get into your storage unit. On the positive, the staff. Is great.

Since I have been there it has been very clean,private and the people I have met have been very nice.Staff is very helpful and polite.Derek who is manager has been willing to help with anything asked and stays very professional.The hours of gate access is very convenient for anyone on any shift.I definitely would recommend this place for anyone who wants no hassle,a place that's respectable and secure .I' m impressed highly.Thank you

Ever since they changed companies they raised the cost 3 times. We started at 75 dollars a month, it was raised to 187 a month. It took 6 months to change the contact information on file. They told me to email the manager at an address that didn't even exist. When we visited on 4-15-24 it was a far cry from the fully functioning and clean facility it used to be. It was extremely dirty, had a terrible smell and the elevator was broken. We decided to move to a better managed and properly maintained facility. It's a shame that a piece of Tacoma history has took such a drastic nosedive. They need to change the sign and the name of the business to reflect their extreme mismanagement. I'd feel safer renting a storage locker at the rescue mission before I would ever return to this disgusting place.
